The concept of Galaxy AI is a modern mantra of Samsung, which the company wants to entice customers to buy a model of the Galaxy S24 series. Many will certainly find something to their liking in the package of these AI functions, and will be excited about it, but it is better not to try them seriously on the iPhone.

The crucial question, of course, is how can Galaxy AI be tested on an iPhone at all? Samsung has updated its web app Try Galaxy, in which he just offers it. The purpose of these pages is for iPhone users to try out how interesting the Android environment and its Samsung One UI superstructures can be. But it is not - at least in this presentation.

The effort is certainly appreciated, but in this case it somewhat misses the mark, or even has the opposite effect. It's not just about iPhones, but also about other Android device users who would like to see what Samsung has to offer, what's worse is that the design of this tool doesn't really speak to the possibilities that your Galaxy device will offer you. Even if we leave aside the Galaxy AI options, just switching to the application menu cuts and bites, some options are not active, others have a tragic delay. Does Samsung really want to present this kind of environment to us?

No thanks

In addition, you can't actually try out Galaxy AI here. All you'll find here is a widget where you can tap on options and watch what happens - which in itself is quite different from what the actual feature experience is like. In addition, you have no way to intervene. So this is a simulation of how it could look, but when we compare it with the real functionality, it is actually rather discouraging. Watching such a botched attempt is actually quite tearful. However, since we tested representatives of the Galaxy S24 series, we can honestly say that they do not deserve such a presentation. These smartphones are of very high quality, practically the best among Androids at the moment.

We are not saying that Galaxy AI is perfect, but it certainly has interesting elements in it, and one can guess that it will only get better. Platform Try Galaxy but rather serves as the exact opposite of what it aims to achieve. If I wasn't sure if I wanted to switch from an iPhone to a Samsung, after trying this I would be sure. And I definitely wouldn't want to switch.
