Apple has partnered with two major car companies to offer six months of Apple Music for free to their customers. The only condition for using this promotion is the purchase of a new car whose infotainment system supports Apple Car Play.

The promotion will start in May and covers both the US and European markets. In Europe, Apple has teamed up with the Volkswagen concern, so customers of VW, Audi, Škoda, Seat and others will be able to take advantage of the offer. In the case of the American market, this promotion concerns the Fiat-Chrysler concern. It is strange that in the case of the Fiat-Chrysler concern, the action does not apply to the European market, where Fiat, Jeep and Alfa Romeo cars are relatively popular.

If you buy one of the above-mentioned cars that also support Apple CarPlay, you can use the offer for six months of Apple Music for free starting May 1 this year. The event will be available until the end of April of the following year. From this move, Apple promises both a potential increase in paying Apple Music users and greater integration of the CarPlay system into new cars. There are more of them on the market every year, but there is still room for further expansion. Apart from it, Apple should also focus on how the whole system works. Many users complain that CarPlay doesn't work rather than works and that there are many things that could be improved. Do you have any personal experience with CarPlay? Is this additional equipment worth the extra cost when buying a new car?
