This morning, specifically at 9:01 a.m. our time, Apple launched pre-orders the most anticipated model in the history of the brand. A few days before today's launch, several instructions were circulating on the web on how to secure a pre-order as soon as possible and how to get the new iPhone as quickly as possible. Millions of users around the world this morning (not all of them were lucky enough to get it in the morning) were waiting to be able to order their chosen configuration. As it turned out, luck smiled only on some. The launch of pre-orders was accompanied by problems with the website not being available.
Everything was supposed to start at 9:01, so from nine o'clock I refreshed both the apple.cz website and the Apple Store application. For quite a long time nothing happened, everything was still out of order. Both the phone app and the website reported that the sale still hasn't started. What was strange, however, was that at the same moment, more and more posts appeared on reddit from Americans who had ordered, paid for their iPhone X and were waiting for delivery on November 3rd. This situation (at least for me personally) lasted more than 10 minutes.
After ten minutes, I managed to get the ordering system on the website working, shortly after that the Apple Store application finally loaded. However, at that time, the availability of all models was in the range of 4-5 weeks. At the time of writing, availability on the official website is still within this range, so if you order the iPhone X now, you'll still get it before the end of the year. However, according to the first responses from the Czech Republic, they were even more successful. Some managed to order the iPhone X really quickly and will receive it as early as next Friday. Others will then wait a few weeks until December depending on how fast they were with their purchase. How did the morning race go for you? I guess it depends on what specific configuration you order... there is probably less interest in the silver 64GB than the black one... I got the black 9GB at 08:256 am and also the second week in the piggy bank.
I also think that there will be less demand for 64 than for 256 and therefore they will drive to me....

Apple is getting more and more compromised! Something still doesn't work as it should. The pre-orders didn't work either. I wonder about the post below because your instructions didn't work for me. I ended up exactly the same. The Apple Store app was quite useful... at first I suspected UPC, but it only showed the "We are preparing" page both via WiFi and LTE... Something was left missing somewhere :-/
What is compromised? What didn't work? Do you have an order? You do, so what's the problem? Where did Apple tell you that you will be able to pre-order at 9:01? As far as I know, nowhere. Don't be so disillusioned by this - the fault lies elsewhere.
I also did it according to the instructions and have delivery scheduled for 6.11/XNUMX. :) so hopefully it will be true :D

The app didn't start until a few minutes after the scheduled 9:01, but all of the favorite settings were deleted. This happened to a colleague as well. So all over again..delivery 4-5 weeks, 64GB silver version.
I just ordered from Alza and even cheaper. And he sends me an email with an estimated delivery date of 3.11/XNUMX. Hmm, if you don't poop... that's fine... :-)

Delivery 4-5 weeks, in the Apple Stote application the order has an assigned number, the confirmation e-mail did not arrive and they did not get the money even for the packaging, which is due on 3.11.
I made an order via the website at 9:04 a.m. for the black 256GB, and in the confirmation email I have a delivery date of November 3rd. They took my money right away, so we'll see if it arrives :-)
It let me into the application at 9:03, but only via the web. The Apple Store app didn't work for another 5 minutes. After logging in to the website, the delivery date was 3.11. Before I tried to pay 3 times, it changed in a few seconds and in the end I am one of the less fortunate ones who wait... but what can be done. I'm probably not going to hang myself because of it :-) The main thing is that it will come (hopefully) before Christmas..

I have KB and it sends notifications immediately. So they didn't rip, but they are blocked, as Apple does anyway. It will be written off only when the goods arrive.
The app started later than the website, so I ordered there. Silver and gray, both 64gb, a message popped up saying that if I wanted to deliver them both at once, the man was late, but the delivery date is 1-7.12/2, which I don't mind. The order was accepted, the invoice is said to arrive by email in 3-XNUMX working days, so no money has been deducted.
I used the instructions and ordered it through the app on my phone. So thanks for the advice.
