Shortcuts for working with windows

If you need to hide or perhaps refresh application windows on your Mac, you don't necessarily have to rely on just clicking. You can use a keyboard shortcut to hide the window on the desktop Cmd+H. Use a shortcut to hide all windows except the one that is currently active Option (Alt) + Cmd + H.

Work with files quickly

If you want to open a folder in the Finder or on the Desktop and view its contents, you can hold the Cmd key and press the down arrow. To go back, just hold down the Cmd key, but to change, press the up arrow key.

Quick activation of Do Not Disturb mode

There are several ways to turn on Do Not Disturb on your Mac. If you want to turn it on really quickly and don't need to customize anything else, you can easily hold the Option (Alt) key and click on the Notification Center icon in the upper-right corner of your Mac screen. You can then easily and quickly deactivate Do Not Disturb again in the same way.

Copy Wi-Fi passwords

If your Mac has connected to a Wi-Fi network in the past, the corresponding password remained stored on the Keychain. From there, you can easily and quickly copy it at any time - in the upper left corner of the screen, click on  menu -> System settings, select Wi-Fi, and in the main window, head to the section Known networks. Click here to icon of three dots in a circleu to the right of the name of the selected Wi-Fi network and click on Copy password.

Want to keep your Mac desktop perfectly clean? You can set the Dock and menu bars at the top of the screen to automatically hide. In the upper left corner, click on  menu -> System settings, and in the left panel click on Desktop and Dock. Finally, activate the item Automatically hide and show the Dock, and in the item Automatically hide and show the menu bar set variant Always.
