PDF signing in Mail

While you may think that you need to print out, physically sign, scan and send back the document, luckily there is an easier way. PDF documents can be signed directly from the Mail application (or thanks to its connection with the native Preview), so you don't have to waste paper. You must first drag and drop the PDF file you need to sign into a new email in the Mail app. After that, you need to mouse over it so that a small button with an arrow appears in the upper right corner. Then click on Annotation, in the annotations panel, click on signature button, and you can start signing the document.

Automatically launch apps when you turn on your Mac

If you use certain apps every day and always open them, you can set your Mac to open automatically when you log in. It can be, for example, Mail, Slack, Safari or even Calendar. A quick way to add an application to this list is to right-click on the application icon, select from the context menu Elections and click on Open when logged in.

Mission Control

Among other things, the macOS operating system also offers a great Mission Control function, which gives users a lot of options when it comes to controlling and managing applications. You might be surprised how many different windows and applications you have open at any one time. If you press F3 to activate Mission Control, you can check everything. You can also add new desktops on your Mac within Mission Control.

Create a guest account

It is possible to add more users to the Mac, which is useful if several people in the household use the same computer. So everyone can set their own wallpapers, layouts, preferences and applications to their liking. It's also possible to add a guest account so that anyone who borrows your Mac won't be able to access your files or documents. To create a guest account on your Mac, click  menu -> System settings -> Users and groups, click on ⓘ  to the right of Guest and activate the guest account.
