Apple released trailers for the second seasons of Afterparty, Foundation and announced the premiere date of its hit movie.

Season 2 of Afterparty

The second season of Afterparty will debut globally with the first two episodes on Wednesday, July 12, followed by one new episode every Wednesday until September 6. The second season is about a ruined wedding where the groom has been murdered and every guest is a suspect. Apple also released a trailer for its new product.

Foundation and trailer for season 2

Apple has revealed a new trailer for the second season of its Foundation, the epic saga from narrator David S. Goyer, based on the stories of Isaac Asimov. Jared Harris and Lee Pace will appear in the main roles of the ensemble. The second season will consist of 10 episodes and its premiere is scheduled for Friday, July 14. Subsequent episodes will be added every Friday until September 15th. And what will it be about? More than a century after the season one finale, tensions rise across the galaxy in season two. A vengeful queen plans to destroy the Empire from within, and Hari, Gaal, and Salvor discover a colony of Mentals with psionic powers that threaten to alter psychohistory itself. Well, there's something to look forward to.

Silo gets a second series

Silo with Rebecca Ferguson received quite a strong response from viewers and critics, so it is not surprising that the Apple TV+ production confirmed the work of a sequel even before the end of the first series. Press Release Apple literally says: "As audiences around the world have become captivated by the mysteries and conspiracies buried in this fascinating underground world, viewership continues to soar, and we're so excited that more of the silo's secrets will be revealed in season two." Needless to say, if you haven't started watching yet, you should do so.

argylle

Argylle is the name of a super-spy whose story the film follows, straight across the world - from the USA, through London and other exotic locations. But the film has an incredibly strong cast, as it features Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O'Hara, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose and also Samuel L. Jackson, directed by the acclaimed Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman, Kick-Ass, Tetris). Apple has now provided more information about the film. Although it was supposed to be released already this year, in the end it won't happen. The premiere is scheduled for February 2, 2024, but not on the platform, but in cinemas. So it will only get to the stream after a while.
