This information seems meaningless at first; why would Apple abandon its classic black and white selection? And especially for such a flashy and somewhat cheap color? Editor-in-chief of the server iMore Rene Ritchie came up with an interesting argument. The gold color seems to be the most popular modification. Currently, there are several companies that offer color change using aluminum anodization, the same process used by Apple. What's more, gold like this color is easier to apply to aluminum than, for example, black.
Gold isn't actually a completely new color for Apple. He already used it at iPod mini. Due to its low popularity, however, it was soon withdrawn. The addition of a new color has additional meaning, especially for owners of older phones. Even more interesting is the situation with the colors of the speculated iPhone 5C, which should be a cheaper variant of the phone. Various photos of alleged back covers of the phone have been surfacing on the internet for the past few months, coming in multiple colors, namely black, white, blue, green, yellow, and pink. Such a strategy makes sense, Apple would attract customers with a lower budget not only with a lower price, but also with a colorful offer. For now, the high-end iPhone would offer three colors, two classic and one brand new as a healthy compromise. In addition, as MG Siegler notes, California is called the "golden state of the USA", which perfectly complements the "Designed in California" campaign.

Let's say the aluminum body will be gold/champagne… What colors will the top and bottom back covers and front of the phone be? All gold looks very cheesy to me. The combination of gold/white or gold/black doesn't strike me as a lucky combination from a design point of view, more like a zigzag type Z out of necessity virtue! Am I the only one???
