Almost a month has passed since the release of iOS 12 for all users, during which it was possible to roll back to the previous version of the system if necessary. However, starting today, Apple stopped signing iOS 11.4.1, making it impossible to downgrade from iOS 12.

After a new version of iOS is released, it's always only a matter of time before Apple stops signing the older version of the system. This year, the company gave users exactly three weeks during which they could possibly downgrade from iOS 12 back to iOS 11. If they try to downgrade now, then the process will be interrupted by an error message.

iOS 12 in less than a month she installed almost half of all active device owners. Overall, however, users are more cautious about installing the new system than in previous years – they even switch to the new iOS at the slowest rate in the last three years. But there is no need to worry about the update, as it mainly brings the overall acceleration of iPhones and iPads, especially older models. We have iOS 12 installed on all devices in the newsroom and we are not facing any problems on any of them. The only ailment was the non-functional charging on the dead iPhone XS Max, which yesterday fixed iOS 12.0.1.
