In today's age of modern technology, it is very difficult to do without an internet connection. Either you can use mobile data, which even today not everyone has and what's more, most people only have a limited package, which is quite restrictive when downloading a large amount of data, for example, or a Wi-Fi connection. But what to do if for some reason your Wi‑Fi connection is not working properly? If you are dealing with a similar problem, read this article to the end.
Ignore the network and reconnect
Quite often it happens that the problem is not so significant and it is enough to remove the network from the list and connect to it again. To do so, on your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, click on Wi‑Fi, click on the required network icon in the circle as well and finally select Ignore this network. After removing from the list, connect to Wi-Fi again connect and test if everything works correctly.
Check the network information
iOS and iPadOS can in some cases evaluate the problem, such as whether the network is connected to the Internet or secure. Move to again to check Settings, choose Wi‑Fi, and in that network, click on icon in the circle as well. Here then go through a review all messages and alerts.
Restart your iPhone and router
This step is one of the simpler ones, but one could say that it is one of the most effective. The iPhone does not need a hard restart, a classic one is enough turn off a turn on. On an iPhone with Touch ID, you restart by holding the side button, and then sliding your finger along the Swipe to Power Off slider, on an iPhone with Face ID, just hold the side button along with the volume up button, and then also just slide your finger along the Slide to Power Off slider. The same applies to the router - it is enough to use it hardware button to turn off and turn on, or you can move to administration router where it can be done classic reboot.
Check cable connections
It goes without saying that in order for Wi-Fi to work correctly, it is necessary to have everything properly connected. If you still cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network, check if you have a router connected to the modem. If the problem was with the connection, try to connect your iPhone or iPad to the Wi-Fi network again after you fix the connection.
Reset network settings
If you've tried all of these methods and none of them worked, reset the network settings on your iOS or iPadOS device. Go to native Settings, choose In general and get off completely Dolu to choose Reset. You will see several options, you tap on Reset network settings. Confirm the dialog box and wait a while. Note, however, that this setting will remove all Wi-Fi networks you've ever connected to from the list, so you'll have to re-enter the passwords.
hello, I still can't do it, the problem is not in the wi-fi itself, but probably in the mobile phone. when I want to connect to wi-fi, I have to go to the router and so I have all the lines, as soon as I move 3-4 meters away, the wi-fi from my mobile automatically disconnects and I have to go back to the router. does anyone know what it will be? should I go to the repair shop? once again.. the problem is not in the wi-fi itself, it works on other electronics, only my mobile can't connect without being a meter away from the router. thank you very much for the answer
Hi, has anyone answered or given you advice? I have the same problem and it only happened after the most recent update. thank you for answer
Hi, I have the same problem.
Hi, I also have a similar problem, or that it can barely find my wifi, but I always have to restart it first. My phone used to find a lot of WiFi in the house, but now it barely finds mine.
Hello, about 2 days ago the phone disconnected from the wifi and it turned out that it could not connect to the network, the same with the other wifi. Both the computer and the tablet are normally connected without a problem. I've tried everything, reset the router, factory reset the phone, just everything, but it still doesn't work.. What should I do please?
I have the same problem
taky
Also, it works on Samsung, iPhone doesn't.
Disabling VPN will get rid of this problem
yes, that's right, turn off or rather delete the VPN and you'll be fine
And where and how to turn off the VPN?
It makes me crazy too
Dobrý den
I also have the same problem. I've tried all options and factory reset the phone, and the wifi works for a while after connecting and then disconnects. It works everywhere else on household appliances (TV, NTB, Psko, etc..)
I have exactly the same problem, did you solve it?
It's due to bluetooth, try turning it off.. At least it does for me on i11 and my girlfriend on i7. I just don't know how a complaint would fight with the tip..
Hello, and do you know exactly what the problem is, I had the problem, now I turned off the bluetooth and it really works, so I don't know what to do with it because I need to have it on.
the same with me and to make matters worse, I updated the phone via iTunes and the update failed 5 times and it was not even possible to reset it to factory settings. That worked, but wifi still nothing...
Someone already answered the same problem, thank you
It only helped me when I turned off the router for about 2 minutes, re-entered the password and it worked.
Hello, I can't even see the available network. The post won't find her at all. On other devices and until recently also on my iPhone just fine
From today I will not connect my iPhone to wifi either. The iPad works fine. Nothing helps
The same problem. Samsungs and other Androids work, nothing on iPhones (site is not connected to the Internet)
daughter has the same problem. In the living room where the router is, it connects, but as soon as it leaves the living room, there is no signal
Hello. Same problem, and none of the advice in the article helped either…
iPad and others are fine. I can connect everywhere else, but I just can't connect to Wi-Fi at home. Does anyone have a solution?
I had the exact same problem and turning off the VPN helped, I had to remove the entire app that was running the VPN.
Yes, I also removed Avast VPN and it works
So what VPN app do you recommend? Or operate the iphone without a VPN?
