Apple iPhones have been available in a variety of colors for several years, allowing everyone to choose based on their preferences. But something like this was not so normal a few years ago, at least not with Apple phones. iPhones have always been available in a neutral design. Perhaps the only exception was the iPhone 5C. With this phone, Apple experimented a bit and bet on colorful colors, which unfortunately did not turn out well.

Fortunately, it is completely different with today's generations. For example, such an iPhone 13 Pro is available in alpine green, silver, gold, graphite gray and mountain blue, while in the case of the classic iPhone 13 the choice is even more colorful. In that case, the phones are available in green, pink, blue, dark ink, star white and (PRODUCT)RED. When comparing the colors of the basic models and the Pro models, we can still come across one peculiarity. For the iPhone 13 and 13 mini, Apple is a little more "bold", while for the Pro models it bets on more neutral colors. This can best be seen in the absence of pink and (PRODUCT)RED designs. But why?

iPhone Pro bets on neutral colors

As we mentioned above, it could be very simply summed up that Apple is betting on more neutral colors in the case of iPhone Pro and has a relatively simple reason for this. More neutral colors simply lead the way and in many ways people tend to prefer them over the more eccentric ones. Many Apple users also agree that if they have to buy a device worth more than 30 crowns, they will of course choose so that they like the iPhone for the entire period of use. According to some users, this is why they favor neutral colors. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account that most people do not change their iPhone that often and therefore choose a model that they will be comfortable with throughout its life cycle.

The exact same situation also applies to the basic models, which are also available in more extravagant designs. With these pieces, we can often observe that the mostly black (in the case of the iPhone 13 dark ink) models sell out significantly faster than the other variants. This is precisely the reason why specifically (PRODUCT)RED is usually in stock. Red is simply too idiosyncratic a color that apple growers are afraid to invest in. However, it should be noted that Apple has made a rather successful change to the current iPhone 13 series. He slightly changed the red color of the iPhone (PRODUCT)RED, when he opted for a more saturated and lively shade, for which he received praise from the users themselves. We must also not forget to mention that it is practically the same in the case of competing phones. Manufacturers are also betting on neutral color designs for the so-called high-end models.

Using the cover

On the other hand, we must not forget the users for whom the color design plays absolutely no role. These Apple users usually cover the same design or color of their iPhone with a protective cover, which they can then choose in a variety of colors - for example, neutral ones.
