How long have we been waiting for a major redesign of the Apple Watch? Even before the Series 7, the leaks adequately supplied us with how the case would be angular and what all would change. But Apple is still consistent in the design of the basic series, and even if it increases the case and the display, not much else happens. So will that change with the Apple Watch Series 10?

We hear, see and read many opinions that the internet is full of. One of them is that the Apple Watch Series 10 will be the Apple Watch X, and that they should bring something extra. But is such a thing necessary? Apple brought something extra in the Apple Watch Ultra, and it is possible that the Apple Watch will actually be called the Apple Watch X, but there is no indication that it should be drastically different. Except for the graphic designs, they come from sketchy information (and they haven't worked out for graphic designers for so many years).

What do we really want from the Apple Watch? Their design is iconic and everyone knows it's an Apple Watch when they look at it. So why change something like that? Subconsciously, we want it perhaps only because we are based on history, when Apple introduced the iPhone X. It also fundamentally changed the appearance and controls, although it was not actually its 10th generation and we never got to see the ninth.

Rather than a different look, we want more options

Tired of the Series Apple Watch? Buy Apple Watch Ultra, which is completely different and the experience is diametrically different. Did you want this kind of advice? Probably not. Where to push the possibilities of smart watches? Of course, several options are offered when the appearance is the last thing we should want to change. First of all, of course, it is the endurance, which is still criticized and which is the main excuse for everyone who buys a Garmin solution.

For years, we have been talking about how the Apple Watch should non-invasively measure blood sugar levels. It would surely be great as it would bring great relief to all diabetics. Samsung and certainly other manufacturers are also working on it, and it turns out to be a bigger problem than it originally appeared. It's the same with a thermometer.

It was initially only available for temperature measurements during the night, and the information from it was only suitable for the fairer sex. Samsung tried to change the matter. The thermometer was already offered in the Galaxy Watch5, but it was literally useless. It was only with the Watch6 and the appropriate application that the potential was unlocked, even in retrospect. With the watch, you can measure the temperature of water, but also of various surfaces.

But it's one thing to invent the technology, another to implement it into a solution, and the third to get it approved, which is probably what all companies run into, and that's why even Samsung's watches don't measure skin temperature. All companies want to boast that their technology is properly verified and approved. On top of that, there are loads and loads of information about what the watch will measure and tell us. However, this information is generally so general that it is difficult to judge now if it will have any real benefit, or if it will just be a mandatory item on the news list in order to at least have something in it.
