The price of iPhones is not exactly twice as low. These are undoubtedly quality smartphones, but have you ever thought about how much the reward is for those who build these devices? It is the answer to this question, among other topics, that today's summary of the events that took place in connection with the Apple company during the past week brings.

Apple Music Classical on Android

Apple Music Classical—the classical music-focused offshoot of Apple Music's music streaming service—made its way to Android mobile devices earlier this week. As such, the application is free to download, the service is available to those who subscribe to the music streaming service Apple Music. The advantage of Apple Music Classical is primarily the advanced search options, which are very specific when listening to classical music. While Android smartphone owners can now enjoy their favorite classical works, Mac and iPad owners are still waiting in vain for the arrival of Apple Music Classical.

WWDC promotion on Twitter

Along with the upcoming presentation of operating systems and other news at Monday's Keynote for the WWDC developer conference, Apple is also taking due care to promote its annual event. Among other things, the promotion also takes place on the social network Twitter. One form of promotion is, for example, the use of so-called hashflags, when after tweeting #WWDC2023, the Apple logo in this year's WWDC design will appear next to the hashtag. Apple also graduates on Twitter a special playlist on Apple Music, and beckons to the Keynote by declaring that Monday will be "the beginning of a new era."

(Non-)Profit iPhone 15 (Pro) Assembly

In addition to WWDC, preparations are also underway for the autumn Apple Keynote, which inevitably includes the production of iPhone 15 (Pro). This should reach its peak this summer, in connection with its acceleration and increase in production volume, further reinforcements are also needed. Foxconn - Apple's main manufacturing partner - is trying to lure you with high hourly earnings and interesting bonuses. But what specific amount of earnings is involved? While the remuneration for working on the new iPhones can be attractive by Chinese standards, for our people it is an amount for which they would probably not even get out of bed. In this case, the hourly wage is approximately 65 crowns converted into crowns, and after working at least three months at the Foxconn factory, the workers are entitled to a bonus of just over 9 crowns.
