Just a few hours to do it Issued Apple minor update iOS 11.4.1. Although we read in the update notes that it fixed some specific bugs, there was no word on battery life. Even so, it seems that with iOS 11.4.1 the battery life of the iPhone has improved, but not for all users.
Less than a day after the release of the update, users shared their experiences, which were mostly positive. Even on Apple's official forum, where until now most users complained about the durability, some started to praise iOS 11.4.1. One of the users even wrote:
“iOS 11.4 literally killed my iPhone 7 battery life… But iOS 11.4.1? Although I only have 12 hours of experience, the stamina is very good now. It seems even better than iOS 11.3.”
Other reactions to the new update, published for example on Twitter, are in a similar vein. In a nutshell, People reports that Apple has fixed the issue causing the battery to drain quickly, though it didn't share it in the update notes.

However, not everyone agrees with these views. There are those who were not helped by the update and their percentages continue to disappear so quickly that they have to charge their iPhone several times a day - some even every 2-3 hours. The problem is mainly experienced by users who switched to iOS 11.4.1 from iOS 11.3 or an earlier version of the system. After all, this was not only confirmed on Apple's website, but also in the discussion below our article:
“Yes, it's been less than a day since I updated my software from iOS 11 to iOS 11.4.1 and my phone is draining much faster than before. I have an iPhone SE.”
However, everyone agrees that the poor battery life is solved by the beta version of iOS 12. In that one, Apple - perhaps inadvertently - managed to remove the error, or probably it did not occur at all. So if you are still troubled by battery problems, you can try the new iOS 12, it is available for all those interested in testing.

Jj the recommendation on iOS beta 12 is a great idea, the battery does not show the correct percentages, the phone does not charge...? I do not know.
I don't have a single problem with the iOS 12 beta. It also solved the battery life for me.

It's worth waiting for an update sometimes, especially if it's minimal changes against min. version. Then I don't have to wait anxiously for Apple to fix it and the battery will be worth something again..
