The Internet in the 1990s resembled a certain version of the Wild West rather than the chiseled versions of today's websites. At the same time, such a virtual world still left a good dose of nostalgia in some people. The aesthetic of multi-colored pages with a pastel touch was also ingrained in the minds of the developers who worked on the game Hypnospace Outlaw.

Although the environment of the game looks like it was cut out of the Internet of the nineties, Hypnospace Outlaw replaces the world network with the so-called Hypnospace. People do this thanks to special helmets that they put on when they go to sleep. You are then hired by the company that owns the entire network to catch up with groups of hackers and similar cybercriminals. On your shifts, you will crawl all corners of the imaginary network and look for cases of misuse of information, copyright infringement or bullying of other users.

During your search for criminals, you will have to watch out for the ubiquitous adware and viruses that can really screw you up. In order to catch some sinners, you will have to use external programs in addition to your browser. But if the eternal pursuit of criminals stops entertaining you, you can just browse Hypnospace and look for virtual currency or a large number of hidden bonuses.
