A game for Sim game lovers, Virtual Villagers, was released on the Appstore today. Behind this game is no one less than Vivendi Games, who have titles such as Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D behind them. The game begins when the inhabitants of one island have to flee from the eruption of a volcano. After a few days at sea, they find themselves on an uninhabited island, where their only concern is survival. And you will have to take care of these residents. Building a shelter and finding food will be your first objective. Of course, other tasks appear in the game and you will discover the secrets of this island. Your islanders will thus begin to become farmers, builders, scientists or parents.

To make things not so simple, the game does not pause even when you leave the game. The game continues with its life and it must not happen that your little residents will not have anything to eat! This game is also sufficiently customizable, as you will be able to name your inhabitants or choose their everyday clothes.

The inhabitants are controlled by simply moving them according to what they are supposed to do. If you move someone to a bush with fruit, they will start picking it. Likewise, you can move a character to a character of the opposite sex, and they will then move to the shack to expand the population of this tropical island. :)

The game costs $7.99 and from my experience I can't say yet if it's worth it. I haven't decided to buy this game yet, Animal Crossing on Nintendo DS is enough for me at the moment. But for lovers of The Sims, this game is definitely a must! You can try the game in the Windows or Mac version on the official website Virtual Villagers.
