Blizzard to release Heroes of the Storm on Mac in June (20/4)

Blizzard finally officially launches its long-awaited Heroes of the Storm game. This online battle arena is coming to Mac on June 2nd. On May 19, you will also be able to try the game in the form of an open beta version.

It is a free-to-play action strategy game that was originally developed as part of the popular Star Craft II. However, the concept of the game has been expanded over time and fans will find heroes from all of Blizzard's favorite games, i.e. from StarCraft, Warcraft and Diablo.

The game allows players to customize heroes to their own image, form a team with friends and then engage in battles of many different types. For example, there is a Cooperative mode, in which players team up against computer-controlled enemies, or Quick Match, which is in the spirit of player-versus-player combat. Heroes of the Storm will come with 30 different heroes and 7 dynamic game battlefields.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition Will Soon Take You To Hell (23/4)

Although he was Minecraft: Pocket Edition a bit of a disappointment at the time of its launch on iPhone and iPad, it has come a long way in 4 years and gained immense popularity. As iOS devices gradually became more powerful, developers from the Mojang studio could expand the game and bring it closer to its PC counterpart. Even now, developers already working under the baton of Microsoft are working on expanding the mobile version of Minecraft, and soon we should see a Nether dimension similar to Hell on iPhones and iPads.

If you're not completely familiar with the world of Minecraft, the Nether is a hellish place only accessible through a portal and filled with rare items and monsters called Ghasts. The Nether is also kind of a shortcut for traveling through the Minecraft world, as traversing through it is much faster than traveling on land. However, the Nether is an extremely dangerous place.

The developer Tommaso Checchi announced on his Twitter that the Nether will also arrive on mobile platforms, where he also published a screenshot depicting the hellish environment of the Nether. But we do not yet know when the new product will arrive in the App Store.

Hipstamatic DSPO wants to provide a nostalgic-modern take on photography

"It's magical in a way when you can't see the photo immediately." says Hipstamatic director Lucas Allen Buick about the new DSPO app. In it, the user creates an album, sets how long the photos inserted in it will be displayed to all participants (minimum is an hour, maximum is a year) and sends invitations via Twitter to people who will then be able to contribute to the album. Everyone can communicate with each other in the chat, which is part of DSPO, but the added photos will not be shown to others until after the set limit has expired.

The basic idea is somewhat nostalgic – Buick recalls the time before digital cameras and the Internet in other comments. He had to take the filmed film to a photo lab and it took several days before the creator and his friends could see the finished photos. Nowadays, photographs have almost lost their value as a means of preserving the past, when they are often a means of experiencing the present. We take them for granted and are often unable to reflect on the moments they refer to. Hipstamatic DSPO wants to bring anticipation and some mystery back to photos, while adding the ability to instantly share them with others. Coupled with this is another statement from Buick: "DSPO is all about collaboration and shared experiences."

Hipstamatic DSPO is available for free in the App Store.

Important update

Keynote for iOS supports Apple Watch

Several iOS applications from Apple received updates in the past week. Among them were Pages, Numbers, Remote and even Beats Music. However, they only received bug fixes and performance improvements.

More interesting is the Keynote update, which now has its scaled-down version for the Apple Watch. Thanks to it, the owner of the watch will not have to hold an iPad or iPhone in his hand during the presentation, and the device on his wrist will be enough to control the presentation. PowerPoint from Microsoft has already received the same function.

TuneIn Radio is coming to CarPlay and Apple Watch

TuneIn Radio is an application that not only replaces the iPhone's inability to tune into FM radio, but also makes available many more radio stations than can be available on FM at any one time. Its latest update brings a hundred thousand real radio stations to cars with CarPlay as well - just connect an iPhone connected to the Internet.

The basic screen of the environment aims to offer its user something interesting to listen to as quickly as possible. It does this by dividing the menu into “Local Stations”, “Last Heard” (a list provided by the iPhone account), “Trending” (the most popular stations among app users) and a few more dividing stations according to their focus/genre.

The application can be controlled in the car either from the display in the dashboard, with an iPhone, or with an Apple Watch. Apple watch support is also part of the update. You can also browse lists and switch stations, add them to favorites and browse their content on Apple Watch.

Clear brings support for Apple Watch, Handoff and interactive notifications

The extremely popular to-do application Clear, which won many users mainly thanks to its perfect design and elegant control using gestures, has received an important update. It primarily brings support for the Apple Watch. However, it will also please users who do not plan to buy a watch from Apple.

In its universal version for iPhone and iPad, Clear brings interactive notifications, so you can complete a task or postpone it by 15 minutes directly from the locked screen of your iOS device. In addition, the application also supports the Handoff function, so whether you start working on tasks on an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch, you will be able to finish the work comfortably on another device. Last but not least, a new color theme "Edition" has been added, which can be unlocked with an in-app purchase.

You can download Clear in version 1.7 from the App Store for 4,99 €.
