The game was originally released at the beginning of March 2013 for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, a graphically redesigned version is also planned The Definite Edition for the latest Sony and Microsoft consoles. Tomb Raider is released for Mac first in the Mac App Store, and in a week it should also appear on Steam.
The new Tomb Raider is a complete "reboot" of the original game, which follows the story of young Lara, who is yet to become that treasure-seeking archaeologist. On her first expedition, her ship is wrecked on an unknown island, where she will have to fight for her life with the natives, the local fauna and the pirates present. The game system leaves the roots of the series, and instead of acrobatic movements, we expect more adrenaline action. The game with borrowed many elements from Uncharted, especially in close combat or archery style. After all, you will be using a bow and melee weapons for most of the game, which is another departure from the previous installments, where Lara fought exclusively with firearms. Instead of direct action, the game focuses more on "stealth" gameplay.
The game Tomb Raider was positively evaluated by game critics and is considered one of the best of the last year, partly thanks to the actress Camilla Luddington, who took on the voice of Lara Croft. Tomb Raider stands out for its detailed graphics, a great 15-hour story and the overall dynamics of the game. In addition to the single-player game, there is also a multiplayer game, but it is not available in the Mac App Store version, and if you do not want to lose money for it, you should rather wait for the Steam version. Either way, the game will cost 44,99 euros.
