According to many, a larger iPad with a diagonal of almost thirteen inches is already a done deal. He thinks so too Bloomberg, according to which she was now again shifted production of the new iPad. Not enough large displays.
It was originally rumored that Apple would release an iPad with a 12,9-inch display already last year. Finally, everything moved to the first quarter of 2015 and now the resources Bloomberg, who do not want to be named, say that the big iPads won't start production until September at the earliest.
Apple's tablets have seen a decline in sales in each of the last four quarters, so Tim Cook is preparing an answer in the form of an iPad with an even larger display. But the problem is that at the moment there is a shortage of such large panels in the supply and production chain.
There's been no word on Apple's plans for a large iPad yet, but it's likely to sit alongside the current 7,9-inch iPad mini and 9,7-inch iPad Air. The main target group of the largest apple tablet should be the corporate sphere, where Apple is now also trying to penetrate with the support of IBM.
On message Bloomberg then he followed up také The Wall Street Journal, who confirmed information about the later production of a large iPad, often referred to as "Pro", and at the same time, referring to his sources, said that Apple is considering new forms and, above all, functions for the new tablet.
Engineers are said to be trying to add USB ports to use USB 3.0 technology, which could guarantee much faster data transfer, up to ten times larger than in current USB ports. It should be useful especially when moving large volumes.
“Apple continues to redesign some of the features of the larger iPad. It is now considering faster technology to sync between the large iPad and other devices,” said a source familiar with the development, who asked not to be named. At the same time, according to him, Apple is working on speeding up the charging process, but it is not certain whether one or the other mentioned function will appear in the final form of the "iPad Pro".
It gives me a hint that the larger iPad will only be introduced with the other two in the fall. This is how apple would mell half a year between individual models. In my opinion, the only possible successful path for the iPad is that Apple will equip it in the same way as the iPhone (camera quality, diode, same sensors, etc.) applications) and others such as music or video. Apple should expand the format support and develop some of its professional applications that will really get the most out of the iPad. And bring the existing ones up to the desktop level or at least equip them better (after all, Pages do not allow changing the color of the text). Of course, it won't replace a computer, but it would help a lot of people in the field for rough adjustments. Another thing is the system, which should definitely be more sophisticated. The current one is just a stretched version of the iPhone and does not offer much more, on the contrary, the user is deprived of some applications such as the calculator, weather, etc. and especially the Health application, therefore the user is deprived of the possibility to check their data on a more convenient tablet, and users without an iPhone are completely deprived about the possibility to synchronize my health data from smart bracelets, scales... (The application would also work on a Mac) and apple should do some kind of multitasking in the sense that I will at least be able to play a video and record it (maybe it could be combined into the QickTime player) and as the last system thing, the option of choosing your own player (QuickTime won't play half of the things, so many users choose it when buying an ultrabook). As for the application in the corporate sphere and applications from IBM, this is an interesting step where Apple is moving its iOS devices. In terms of hardware, it would be great if the iPad could be used as a graphics tablet (and if Apple introduced an apple pen (hopefully it could also be used with iPhones) and if iPads had an iPhone design, i.e. rounded edges so that you could comfortably rest your hand on them.). It would be another great excuse why people like photographers, etc. should get an iPad. And as perhaps the very last addition of sensors such as a thermometer, heart rate monitor, etc., which would allow the iPad to be used in the sports/health sphere as well. I would just modify the LTE module, whose overlapping plastic takes up a lot of space, so I would reduce it. The iPad no longer serves its original purpose (consumption of content) as it did in the days of 3,5-inch phones, but with today's screen sizes, a large phone is enough for many people. And apple should not forget about people who only own an iPad without an iPhone. Apple automatically assumes that everyone owns an iPhone, and I have a lot of people around me who own an iPad and an Android or Windows phone. And he should try to ensure that less demanding users only need an iPad, i.e. consuming content and creating content in general.
You are right about something, but I have to correct you in the details - Pages can of course change the color of the text - both on IP and on iPad. There are many other apps for playing videos besides the standard player.
So I didn't notice the color change, but it's true that I've only been using that since Word was released. And by player I meant setting the default player. I know there are tons of others, but I can't play a video from the website in any of them.
You have to be precise and distinguish between the Videos app on iOS and QuickTime Player on OS X. As for changing the text color in Pages, it always worked.
I agree with the calculator, the weather and below. With multitasking in multiple windows too, especially when rewriting/translating text, it's a must. But it wants to think about how the interface would behave in such a case.
The holy truth...iPad is just an enlarged iPhone and additionally depleted of some functions.I understand that Apple doesn't want to make it a replacement for a full-fledged computer, but it still has that unused potential...I personally use an iPad mini Retina 2 and to be honest, if it doesn't change, I will not upgrade anymore. It was supposed to be for content consumption, but for God's sake it doesn't have to end there. If a person wants to estimate something, check, you don't have to buy a tablet for 10000 from Apple. I use an iPhone 6, I have a Mac Pro for work and an Apple TV for entertainment, and to be honest, my iPad is kind of stagnant... I don't even take it with me to work anymore, since when I have an iPhone 6, I don't know what to use it for when it's so limited. Owners of the 6 plus, I don't even know why they should have it anymore... Calmly let them turn it into a full-fledged game console, or e-reader, or something that I can complete at 100 percent. In this way, it's something from everyone, and all together nothing. Just my opinion.
