According to the latest information, Apple's March conference could present several pieces of important hardware. In addition to the four-inch iPhone, the Californian company also plans to show the new generation iPad Air, which could mean a major step forward.

It was Mark Gurman again from 9to5Macwhich he added his original news about the upcoming March keynote. Next to of the four-inch iPhone 5SE and also new bands for the Watch according to his sources, the iPad Air 3 should also appear.

Apple introduced the new iPads last fall, but only the iPad mini and the new iPad Pro were given space then. The iPad Air has been waiting for an update since October 2014, and Apple is now said to be ready to show off the next generation.

The iPad Air 3, as the new tablet should be called, could offer an additional pair of speakers to more closely match the iPad Pro, as well as an LED flash for better shots from the rear camera. However, these elements have only appeared on unconfirmed leaked schematics so far.

However, what Gurman has from his own sources, which tend to be more reliable, is that an iPad Air compatible with the Apple Pencil, which until now only worked with the iPad Pro, is being tested in Cupertino. If the Pencil actually worked with the iPad Air, it could make it a much more attractive (and affordable) item for designers, artists, and other creatives.

At the same time, Gurman added information regarding the new bands for the Watch, which are to be introduced in March. While the second generation of the Apple Watch is not yet ready, Apple will release several new colors of rubber sports bracelets, the luxurious Hermès collection will get new colors, and the already leaked black Milanese movement will not be missing. In addition, another series of tapes made of completely new material is said to be on the way.
