Do you have restless children? And what about animals, is it also difficult to photograph them when they are not lying lazily in their beds? The results are usually not worth it, blurry photos, or a picture that doesn't capture that really interesting moment. There is no need to despair, it is here SnappyCam Pro.

The principle itself is very simple. The application has its own button not dissimilar to the one in the default apple photography application. When you tap it, you take a photo. But if you hold your finger for a while, fire follows. The trigger clicks until you release it. Then all you have to do is look at the gallery - basically you have something like a video. Smooth depending on how many frames per second the app is supposed to produce. You can scroll through them by dragging your finger along the vertical image axis and select the images you like the most.

The dog ran around the garden and sniffed - I chose the ones I liked the most from the set of pictures.

The videos on the official website demonstrate how well SnappyCam Pro works. But you can understand the controls even without the manual. And the results? Great! For example, I created a set of thirty images of our dog moving and selected three snapshots that I liked compositionally. Plus, everything was pretty sharp. (However, I would be careful with the cheering here, no doubt it all depends a lot on the speed of the object's movement.)

The application has a simple appearance, yet allows quite a few settings to suit you. One of the first properties will probably be the one to determine at what cadence the photos will be taken. The maximum is 30 frames per second, but in this case it is necessary to adjust the so-called FOV, i.e. field of view, when the camera zooms in on the object and thus also reduces the field that is in the frame. Due to zooming in via digital zoom, of course, the quality of the image is worse, as you know it from other applications. The medium FOV allows 15 frames per second, while the largest (as you normally see it when you start the default camera) only 12 frames.

Setting the number of frames per second, or the so-called FOV.

What else in the settings is worth a special mention is the aspect ratio and the decision of how to focus (gesture selection).

But when we return to the main screen of the camera, we can notice on the right side in the corner the option to zoom in (up to 6x using digital zoom), in the lower left corner above the icon for the gallery there are three buttons for displaying the grid, controlling the flash and switching the camera from back to front.

Gallery of taken photos.

In the gallery you will find everything you have created with the application. If there is no number next to the thumbnail, it is a single photo. The number determines the number of pictures taken "in one go". After clicking, you can browse individual images, export them, delete them. The application, as can be deduced, has its own gallery, the photos are not automatically saved in the Pictures application from Apple, you have to manually mark them and save them. Either the whole set at once or only selected ones. When you decide to send a photo/photos by e-mail, you can choose - just as Apple's Mail client offers - from three different sizes + the one in which the photo was taken.

SnappyCam Pro works very well. On the iPhone 4, however, it starts slower than the original application (about 4 seconds). However, if you are also capturing the action in motion, you should not just leave it unnoticed.
