This week started with the unpleasant news that Apple will not be able to release the HomePod wireless smart speaker this year after all. According to the original plan, the HomePod was supposed to appear in just a few weeks, but on Monday, the company announced that the start of sales in the first three countries is moving to sometime "early 2018". Whatever that means…

At the beginning of the week, we also brought you a mediated photo report of how it looked at the official opening of (part of) Apple Park. The grand opening of the visitor center took place last Friday, and some foreign newsrooms were there. You can see a gallery of photos from the opener in the article below.

On Tuesday, information appeared on the web that the new iMacs Pro, which should go on sale in December, will receive processors from last year's iPhones. After the new MacBooks Pro, it will be another computer that will have two processors. In addition to the classic one supplied by Intel, there is one more of its own that will manage specific tasks.

On Tuesday, we were able to look at an interesting phenomenon, which is a ten-year-old MacBook Pro, which is still serving its owner without any problems. It is really a historical piece, but it seems that many people can get by with it. Detailed information and some photos can be found in the article below.

On Wednesday, we wrote about the fact that Apple wants to speed up the introduction of so-called Micro-LED panels. This is a technology that should one day replace OLED panels. It has their greatest advantages and offers several other positive features in addition to all of this. It will first appear on the market in 2019.

We wrote about the HomePod once more this week, when information appeared on the web about how long this project has actually been developing. It certainly doesn't appear to be a smooth development cycle, and the speaker has gone through a number of changes during its development. From a marginal product that shouldn't even have the Apple name, to one of the main attractions (already today) of next year.

On Thursday, you could see pictures of the new campus that Apple is building just a few kilometers from the new Apple Park. Not many people know about this project, although it is also a very interesting piece of architecture.

At the end of the working week, Apple published an advertisement in which it presents wireless headphones AirPods and the new iPhone X. The advertising spot breathes on you with its Christmas atmosphere. You may also be pleased with the fact that it was filmed in Prague.
