Recently, we have been gradually saying goodbye to everything that has a wire. It first started with wireless data transfer using Bluetooth, later we got wireless headphones, and now many of us use wireless chargers to charge our devices. If you're not into the wireless charging crowd yet, you'll definitely enjoy this review. In it, we will look at the 10W wireless charger from Swissten, which can perfectly serve as a basic building block for all users who do not currently charge wirelessly. Let's take a closer look at this wireless charger together.

Technical Specifications

In the case of wireless chargers, it is very important to know the maximum power they can charge. For example, the latest flagships from Samsung can accept wireless charging of up to 15 W - so if you chose a weaker wireless charger, you would not use the maximum potential of wireless charging of your device. As you can already guess from the title of the review, the reviewed Swissten wireless charger can deliver a maximum wireless charging power of 10 W. This value is perfectly sufficient for all Apple users, as iPhones are able to receive a maximum wireless charging power of 7.5 W (this value is limited by iOS, iPhones can officially receive 10 W). So, if you use an iPhone, this wireless charger will be enough for you even if Apple "unlocks" the maximum power of 10 W at some point in the future. Of course, the reviewed Swissten wireless charger meets the Qi standard, so in addition to mobile devices, you can charge AirPods or other wireless devices with it.

Packing

If you decide to buy a 10W wireless charger from Swissten, you can look forward to the standard packaging style that Swissten uses for a wide range of its products. The product will therefore be delivered to you in a white-red box, where you can immediately familiarize yourself with the design of the charger from the front side via the image. In addition, you will also find basic information about the charger on the front, such as the maximum power value or compliance with the Qi standard. From the back, you will find the instructions for use, and below you will find a picture of everything that is in the package. Specifically, in addition to the charger itself, it is a 1,5-meter cable, which has a classic USB connector (for the adapter) on one side, and a USB-C connector on the other side, which is inserted into the charger.

Processing

The 10W wireless charger from Swissten is made of black matte plastic. What will surprise you about it is the fact that it is very light. From the bottom side, which is placed on the table, you will find a total of four non-slip "feet", thanks to which the charger will always stay in place. In addition, here you will find information and certificates about the charger. The Swissten branding is then located on the top, along with four small anti-slip strips, which in turn ensure that your device does not slide off the charger. On the side, the LED diode and the USB-C connector are then placed opposite each other. The green LED indicates that the charger is ready for use or that the device is fully charged. If the LED lights up blue, it means that it is currently charging the device. The USB-C connector is then used to connect to a power source.

Personal experience

I had the opportunity to test this wireless charger for several days and I have no reason not to recommend it to all users who are looking for a simple wireless charger for a single device, or to those users who want to try wireless charging for the first time. Of course, this is not a high-end wireless charger, but it should be noted that the reviewed wireless charger from Swissten does not even compete with it. Simply put, it is the basic building block of users who want to gradually switch to wireless charging of their devices. During the entire testing period, I did not encounter a single problem during use - some users might not be satisfied with only an LED that can light up the whole room at night. In this case, the safety of the entire charger is a matter of course, in the form of protection against short circuit, overvoltage or overheating.

Summary

If you are looking for an ordinary wireless charger for your iPhone or other device that is capable of receiving power of a maximum value of 10 W, then the reviewed wireless charger from Swissten is right for you. You will be primarily interested in its design (if you do not necessarily suffer from sharp edges) and you will be pleased by the presence of an LED that informs you of the charge status. At a price of 449 crowns, this is a perfect choice that none of you will be fooled by. It should be noted that the charger is available in both the black (reviewed) version and also in white – so everyone will find something for themselves. At the end of this review, I can only recommend the 10W wireless charger from Swissten to all undemanding users.
