Press Release: QNAP today announced that its first 3-bay NAS – TS-328– received an award at the COMPUTEX 2018 fair in the Computers and Systems category Best Choice Award. The TS-328 has a unique 3-bay design that allows users to build a RAID 5 array with the fewest number of drives while ensuring optimal storage capacity and data protection.

TS-328 adorns an elegant appearance that easily fits into the home environment. The TS-328 has a quad-core 1,4GHz Realtek RTD1296 processor with 2GB of DDR4 memory, two 1GbE ports with SATA 6Gb/s and offers read/write speeds of up to 225 MB/s. This model also offers hardware H.264/H.265 decoding and real-time transcoding that can convert videos to universal file formats that can then be played seamlessly on multiple devices. QNAP's streaming apps – QVHelper, Qmedia and Video HD – also give users more choice for multimedia entertainment around the home and on their mobile devices when on the go.

During COMPUTEX TAIPEI, all award winning Best Choice Award 2018 products are displayed in the Best Choice Award Pavilion. COMPUTEX 2018 takes place in Taipei, Taiwan from 5-9 June 2018.
