Since about the middle of the year, there have been constant reports about the availability problems the iPhone X will have. If we take into account all the information coming from suppliers and subcontractors, the final design of the finished phone was only at the end of the holidays. This was probably one of the main reasons why Apple decided to release the iPhone X more than a month later than the other newly introduced models. From the keynote, there is talk that it s initial availability it won't be good at all. Respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo even claims that availability will level off only in the second half of the year. However, somewhat more optimistic information came from the other side of the barricade today.

The news came from the Digitimes server, which received information from entities that are part of the supply chain for the components that make up the new iPhone X. The original information said that behind all the delay is the problematic production of the system of components that make up the module for Face ID. Due to the poor yield, a critical shortage occurred, which hampered the entire production. In the last two weeks, however, the situation has been relatively normalized and production should start at the required level.

Thanks to the acceleration of production and distribution of finished iPhones, there should not be the tragic availability problems that were discussed earlier - especially that availability would not stabilize until the middle of next year. According to Digitimes, or of their resources, Apple will manage to satisfy all pre-orders by the end of this year, and during or shortly after the Christmas holidays, the iPhone X should be available as standard without an excessive waiting period.
