Thanks to this, the computer could unlock its user almost instantly with the help of a 3D facial scan. Practically, all you have to do is sit down on the device, wake it up from sleep mode, and you're done. In addition, mentions of Face ID have already appeared in the code of the macOS 11 Big Sur operating system.

As for the aforementioned redesign, we definitely have a lot to look forward to. Apple is going to make the bezels around the display track significantly thinner, and at the same time, the bottom metal "chin" should be removed. In general, it is expected that the iMac will look very close to the Pro Display XDR monitor, which was introduced in 2019. Iconic curves so it will be replaced by sharp edges, similar to the case of the iPad Pro. The last known change should be the implementation of Apple Silicon chips.

The MacBook Pro will see the return of the SD card reader

In 2016, Apple significantly changed the appearance of its MacBook Pros. While the 2015 models offered relatively solid connectivity, where the vast majority of users managed without any reductions and docks, the next year changed everything. As of now, the "Pročka" is only equipped with Thunderbolt ports, which is understandably quite limiting. Fortunately, the situation could change this year. Last week, we informed you about the latest predictions of a renowned analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo, according to whom we will see interesting changes.

This year, we should expect 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro models, which will be fitted with a powerful Apple Silicon chip. Part of the news was that these laptops will get a more angular design, remove the Touch Bar and see the return of the iconic MagSafe charging. There was also talk about the return of some ports, but they were not specified in more detail. Kuo only said that this change will allow a significant group of apple users to do without the already mentioned reductions and docks. Mark Gurman came again today with additional information, according to which we are expecting the return of the SD card reader.

This step on the part of the Cupertino company would significantly help photographers and other creators, for whom the reader is almost the most essential port of all. In addition, some sources talked about the possible arrival of USB-A and HDMI ports, which is practically unrealistic. The entire market is actively reorienting to the use of USB-C, and the implementation of these two types of ports would additionally increase the thickness of the entire laptop.
