Today, in a press release on the occasion of the announcement of financial results for the third quarter of this year, Apple revealed when the expected OS X Mountain Lion will be released. The new operating system will be available from July 25, for download in the Mac App Store for $19,99.

The Mountain Lion will sell for ten dollars less than its predecessor, the Lion. Users will be able to purchase Mac OS 10.8 through the Mac App Store and then install it on a total of five computers. Both Lion and Snow Leopard users can update.

OS X Mountain Lion includes over 200 new features including Notification Center, Game Center, AirPlay Mirroring, Facebook and Twitter integration, etc.
