Yesterday, Nike quietly announced the arrival of three brand new sports bands for the Apple Watch. They will arrive this Friday and will be available only to Nike Plus members during the initial sales phase. However, they should also be available for free sale.

According to the newsletter published yesterday, three brand new sports bracelets will arrive. Two will be classic fabric, one will be rubber. The new color options will be Smokey Mauve, Celestial Teal and Olive Flak. You can see the shape of the bracelets in the attached photos.

Fabric bracelets should have reflective elements, a rubber bracelet will be a bit more discreet, due to its matte finish. It is also not yet clear if the bracelets will be sold freely, or if they will only be sold in combination with some Nike+ versions of the Apple Watch.

The new wristbands will be available starting Friday, initially only through the Nike app for iPhone and only to Nike+ Club members. However, membership is free, so if you are interested in the new strap variants, ordering them won't be too much of a problem. If Nike bands aren't what you're after right now, Apple should also be coming out with its winter collection of Apple Watch accessories in the coming days. Even in this case, we expect news to be announced by the end of this week at the latest.
