A brand new sanctuary for all fans of the bitten apple has sprung up in the East Bay. The newest Apple Store in Walnut Creek opened its doors this week. In the gallery of this article, we will show you what not only the interior of the new Apple store looks like, but also its immediate surroundings.

The Apple Store is located on the edge of Broadway Plaza at the intersection of Main Street and Olympic Boulevard. The area is home to numerous luxury restaurants and shops, including Amazon or the Tesla brand. Like all other newly opened apple stores, the one in Walnut Creek is intended to become not only a place for shopping, but also for people to meet and learn.

The area near the store is lined with greenery planted in stone flower pots. There are wooden benches on the east side of the building, facing the fountain. Outdoor spaces are becoming key design elements of new Apple stores – we can also see the thoroughly elaborated exterior Apple stores in Milan, which was also recently opened.

Inside the store, we find the characteristic large wooden tables that play a significant role in hosting the Today at Apple programs. Angela Ahrendts commented in one of her interviews that the programs have the potential to become "the biggest platform for enriching life that Apple has ever had". Today at Apple's classes, lessons, performances and other events provide an added value and customer experience that people don't get a chance to experience when shopping online. Although Apple's increased activity in public spaces has met with criticism in some places due to excessive commercialization, this is probably not a threat to the spaces in Walnut Creek.

The new Apple Store combines elements typical of the design of the new generation of apple stores in a unique style. Like the nearby store on Michigan Avenue or the visitor center in the new Apple Park, the Walnut Creek store features large glass walls with rounded corners and other distinctive features.
