A new generation that should have a code name J310, will bring a number of great novelties. One of the main ones is, of course, the deployment of the A15 chip, which, among other things, should also appear in this year's iPhone 13 line of Apple phones. a version with the designation A5X, which should then go to other iPads. Earlier, the popular leaker Jon Prosser revealed that the sixth generation iPad mini will offer a USB-C connector instead of Lightning, which will significantly expand the capabilities of the entire device. Specifically, it will be possible to connect significantly more accessories and peripherals to it.
At the same time, there is talk of deploying the popular Smart Connector, which even appeared on the product render from the aforementioned leaker Jon Prosser. Apple should also reportedly work on the development of new accessories that will be used by the Smart Connector. For now, however, it is not at all certain what this could actually be. The iPad mini will continue to see an interesting design change, bringing it closer in appearance to the iPad Pro and iPad Air. It should offer a slightly larger display with a diagonal of around 8,4″, significantly thinner frames, and at the same time the Home Button could be removed. Following the example of the iPad Air, Touch ID would then move to the power button. The device could be presented this autumn.
