If you have Microsoft Office 2016 installed on your Mac, a major update is available for you starting yesterday, which brings many new features in addition to bug fixes. The update is labeled 16.9 and is available either automatically (if you have automatic updates turned on) or through the direct option to search for new updates. You can find the complete list of changes in English <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>.

One of the most fundamental innovations is the possibility of cooperation during the creation and editing of a document. Those who have the right to edit it will now be able to intervene in it in real time, even with several other users at the same time. In the upper right corner, there will be an icon for each user who is currently working with the document. Changes will be shown in real-time, and flags will indicate the segments of the document that are currently being edited. This feature will work for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

These programs have now acquired another function, which is the automatic saving of the document. However, this will only work if the document being edited is stored in cloud storage. If this condition is met, the changes will be automatically saved and the user will be able to look at the list of changes and possibly return to the selected changes. This feature also works for the co-op mode mentioned above.

Individual programs also received some extra functions. In Excel, there are now several new types of graphs, new modes for data mapping, etc. PowerPoint now includes the "QuickStarter" function, thanks to which you can make a basic presentation layout in a few simple steps. In the same way, several simple tools for editing videos that you insert into the presentation have been added here. Word also received less fundamental changes and news (see the official changelog). Outlook now supports Google Calendar and Contacts, as well as new options for archiving messages.
