Apple continues its established trend and continues to connect the world of technology and fashion in its company. Most recently, he invited Marcela Aguilarová, the former head of marketing and communications at Gap, to his Cupertino headquarters. According to a report by the server Ad Age, Aguilar will hold the position of director of global marketing communications at Apple.

"Apple got a proven professional," says Gap chief marketing officer Seth Farbman. "Working for a major American brand like Gap means being on the main stage, in the spotlight, every day."

The director of the Gap company even claims that Marcela Aguilar helped the company fundamentally in restoring the former reputation of this brand. (Gap struggled for a time with a loss of image, after a failed attempt to change the logo in 2010.)

For Apple, the move comes as the Californian company released its "most individual" product yet. This is exactly how Tim Cook marked his watch at a recent presentation Apple Watch. This new device will be available in different designs and with a range of wristbands as well as software customization options. And precisely because Apple watches combine technology and fashion, Apple is constantly expanding its ranks with other personalities of the fashion world.

In addition to Marcela Aguilar, they also recently joined the Cupertino company Angela Ahrendts, former head of Burberry, and Paul Deneve, who previously headed the Yves Saint Laurent brand. In addition to celebrities from the fashion world, this month Apple also hired a big name from the world of design, namely a product designer Marc Newson.
