Just a few hours after edition iOS 11.4.1, watchOS 4.3.2 and tvOS 11.4.1, Apple also released the new macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 intended for all users. As with other systems, this is only a minor update for macOS, which mainly brings bug fixes. However, users also received support for the AirPlay 2 function, which debuted a month ago in iOS 11.4.

Specifically, macOS 10.13.6 brings AirPlay 2 support for listening from iTunes in multiple rooms. Along with the system, a new version of iTunes with the designation 12.8 was also released, which also brings support for the mentioned function and, along with it, the possibility to pair two HomePods and use them as stereo speakers. Similarly, you can group an Apple TV and other AirPlay 2-enabled speakers with the HomePod.

The new macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 also fixes several bugs. Specifically, it addresses an issue that could prevent some cameras from recognizing AVCHD media in the Photos app. The Mail app then got rid of a bug that prevented users from moving messages from Gmail to another account.

macOS 10.13.6 and iTunes 12.8 can traditionally be found in Mac App Store, specifically in the tab updates. The system installation file is 1,32 GB in size, the iTunes update is 270 MB.
