It's already been a week since the world officially got to know this year's trio of new iPhones. Although Apple he claims, that he wants to serve everyone, and adjust the prices of his equipment accordingly, many criticisms are leveled at him. Analysts from Picodi that's why they calculated how long Czechs and residents of other countries have to work to be able to buy a new iPhone XS. And the results are quite interesting.

At Picodi, they took into account the price of the iPhone XS with 64 GB of storage. Based on official statistical data on average wages in individual countries of the world, they calculated how long it would take residents to earn an Apple smartphone. It may surprise someone that residents of developed European countries, along with citizens of the United Arab Emirates, are the fastest to buy a new iPhone, while Americans are not so well off. The price of the new iPhone in the Czech Republic will be 29 crowns, while the average net Czech salary is 990 crowns according to the Czech Statistical Office. This means that the average Czech would have to work 24 days to be able to afford a new iPhone, while he should not have any other expenses at all.

The longest an average Filipino resident would earn an iPhone XS: 156,6 days. On the contrary, the average Swiss earns it the fastest, specifically in 5,1 days. In the United Arab Emirates, citizens would earn 7,6 days per apple smartphone, in Canada 8,9 days and in the United States 8,4 days. You can see the complete table of all 42 countries below.
