How to access files on Mac from iPhone? Your computer probably offers more storage than your iPhone or iPad, especially if you work on a desktop computer. Would you like to access files on your computer from your phone? You can do so without even upgrading your cloud storage.

Both macOS and Windows have built-in file sharing for the local network, and Apple's mobile operating system can access both. Users can browse any documents, photos, videos or other files on their computer from the comfort of their Apple mobile device. All you need is the native Files app on your iOS or iPadOS device. Remember that local file sharing inherently only works if you're on the same network as the other device.
