If you click on it, you can easily control the volume in certain applications or the volume of the system itself. In all cases, there are simple sliders to adjust the volume. In addition, the so-called Auto-Pause function is available, which takes care of automatically pausing the sound from the music application when the sound starts playing in another, "non-music" application.
