The iPhone X is still relatively out of sight, as we will have to wait more than two weeks for pre-orders. Not to mention delivery, given what most likely will occur availability issues. However, in recent days, several images (and videos) have appeared on the web, which are supposed to show working models iPhone X in the hands of its users. I initially dismissed these reports as most likely mock-ups or knock-offs, but a lot of information has appeared on the web that confirms the authenticity of these devices.

The first picture appeared on reddit on Friday and shows the crown prince of Dubai. He is caught shooting with a repeating rifle and has two mobile phones on the table next to him. The first is most likely the new iPhone 8 Plus, the second is something that looks like an iPhone X. Given its status, it's very possible that it got the new model exclusively, a few weeks early. Apple officially operates in Dubai, through its Apple Store, and it would not be the first time that members of the royal family there have products that are not yet officially sold (such as the exclusive gold models of the Apple Watch, which appeared with them even before the start of sales in the world).

The other photos that appeared during the weekend most likely show the test iPhone X. These are relatively detailed pictures of the black model, and from the photos (see below) it is clear that it is a model intended for the final phase of testing. When the screen is locked, the text on the bottom is clearly visible, warning that this is a "secret" device owned by Apple. Next to this text is a phone number, which is used in case this phone is lost and found by a stranger (as happened earlier when an Apple employee forgot the final iPhone test prototype in a pub).

The last recorded case of the iPhone X is video lesson, which appeared on reddit yesterday. It captures a locked white iPhone X and clearly shows how the new dynamic wallpapers work. It is not visible here if this is also a test piece, but it is very likely. It is clear that several such models exist, and their owners, although they have certainly signed some form of NDA, simply cannot resist the urge not to show off their new toy.
