The iPhone SE 3 is finally here after a long wait. Its previous generation, i.e. the second, was introduced in 2020, so it was definitely time for a new generation. It is absolutely clear that the iPhone SE 3 will be an absolute blockbuster, just like all its previous generations. And why not, because it is a cheap Apple phone, which with its features and specifications is sufficient for most users. We had certain expectations from the iPhone SE 3, were they fulfilled? Apple has already revealed this to us and you will find out in this article.
iPhone SE 3 performance
The major improvement in the new iPhone SE 3rd generation lies in its performance. Apple has bet on the high-performance Apple A15 Bionic chip, which can also be found, for example, in the iPhone 13 Pro. This chipset is equipped with a six-core processor, which makes the new phone 1,8x faster than the iPhone 8. In terms of graphics performance, it relies on a quad-core graphics processor, which is 2,2x faster than the mentioned "eight". The sixteen-core Neural Engine completes the whole thing brilliantly. In this regard, the iPhone SE 3 becomes 26 times faster. Another fairly fundamental change is the arrival of 5G connectivity support, which unlocks a completely new potential for the phone itself. At the same time, it becomes the cheapest iPhone with support for 5G networks.
iPhone SE 3 design
Unfortunately, we will not find any major improvements in terms of design. Despite this, the iPhone SE 3 has moved forward a bit by offering higher durability and the most durable Apple glass ever. However, its appearance remains the same as that of the previous generation. It will again be available in three colors – white, black and (PRODUCT)RED red.
iPhone SE 3 features
Just like the previous generation from 2020, the new iPhone SE 3 will offer a high-quality 12MP camera that can benefit from the high-quality Apple A15 Bionic chip. Thanks to this, apple users will be able to enjoy functions such as Smart HDR or Deep Fusion. It also comes with photo styles. Of course, the Cupertino giant did not forget the quality of the video, which has moved forward especially when filming in poor lighting conditions.
iPhone SE 3 price and availability
Pre-orders for the newly introduced iPhone SE 3 will start already next Friday, i.e. March 18, 2022. Its price will start at 429 dollars.

NIGHT MODE NOT PRESENT again :(((
Confirmed here: https://apple.co/3hOJCRd
..in 2022?! SHAME ON YOU APPLE!!!
The endurance should be the same as the iP12 mini, so again NO GLORY :/
The "Ultra Wideband Spatial Sensing Chip" i.e. U1 is again ABSENT, i.e. AirTag is UNFORTUNATELY NOT HAPPING again :(
– see: https://apple.co/3hOJCRd
But it will still outsell a bunch of other competing phones at the same price point. Who can, can.
We also use AirTags with iPhone SE 2. 😉
It was a bit cheeky of Apple to compare the SE 3 with the iPhone 8, which was released quite a few years ago. It would be fairer to compare it with the real predecessor, i.e. SE 2. However, the progress there would probably not seem so significant.
THE GOSPEL TRUTH! Carve into iKamene :)
Nothing interesting for us who have SE 2020. The a13 already has power to spare. It's a shame that Apple didn't have the balls to come up with at least something in the XR style. So maybe in 2 years :-)
What do you think about the price of the iPad Pro? Will it drop after the launch of the new iPad Air? Alternatively, when can it be expected?
There is no successor to the iPad Pro - I would say no
Is it worth it to go to the new SE if the innovation is not so dizzying or to pay more and go to the 12/13 mini? Or go for the SE 2020, which is the cheapest and doesn't differ that much. I mainly care about solid battery life, performance and compact size. I don't care about the camera that much, or rather the SE 2020 seems to me to be sufficient for now.
If not for the camera and looks, I'd stick with the SE 2020.
If the mini is 12, it is cheaper.
If you already had an SE 2020, I wouldn't even think about upgrading if it works, the phone is fine. If you go for a new one, the SE 2022 is already more expensive, I don't know how much, the benefit is said to be 2 hours longer battery life, which is about 14% more compared to the SE 2020. I have the SE1 and it holds up, and due to current and future inflation, nothing I won't hurt you. Personally, I had SE2020 planned and would buy it next year. Of course, it depends on how long you are willing to use the phone, it may happen that with the new iOS the battery will go away like it was last year, so are you willing to eventually have a magnetic power bank on the back of the phone? Personally for the aesthetics of the castle, the price is good. The words new and modern are an illusion, what was really hardcore was the single-line Ericsson display, everything else is fine. I have a nice morning
I still forgot how I wrote about the iPhone mini 12, so I recommend that you consider getting a mini 12 made with secure enclave 2nd generation, end of 2020.
Note: A12, A13, S4, and S5 products first released in Fall 2020 have a 2nd-generation Secure Storage Component; while earlier products based on these SoCs have a 1st-generation Secure Storage Component.
