An apple face could be at the helm of Ferrari

If you are a fan of sports cars and are also interested in the Ferrari company, then you certainly did not miss the news about the departure of the current director. After two years in the role, Louis Camilleri left his position with immediate effect last Thursday. Of course, almost immediately, news about who could replace him began to spread on the Internet. The complete list was then brought by Reuters via a report.

In addition, two quite famous names associated with the Cupertino company Apple also appear in this report. Specifically, it concerns a financial director named Luca Maestri and a former chief designer whose name is known to practically every passionate fan of the apple company, Jony Ive. There are of course several potential candidates. But who will eventually take the position of CEO of the Ferrari car company is unclear for the time being.

Apple has shared a sheet of popular apps that are optimized for Macs with the M1

Already in June, on the occasion of the developer conference WWDC 2020, Apple showed us a literally giant novelty. Specifically, we are talking about a project called Apple Silicon, which means that the Cupertino company will switch from Intel processors to its own solution for its Macs. The first pieces hit the market in November – MacBook Air, 13″ MacBook Pro and Mac mini. All of these Apple computers are equipped with the M1 chip. Immediately after the aforementioned WWDC 2020 conference, criticism began to spread on the Internet due to the fact that it will not be possible to run any application on such machines.

Since it is a different platform, developers have to prepare their programs separately for M1 chips as well. But in the end, it's not such a big problem. Fortunately, Apple offers the Rosetta 2 solution, which translates applications written for Macs with Intel and thus runs them on Apple Silicon as well. In addition, many publishers have already optimized the application. That's why the Californian giant has shared a list of the best programs that are "tailor-made" even for the latest apple additions. The list includes, for example, Pixelmator Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher, Darkroom, Twitter, Fantastical and many others. You can view it in its entirety in the Mac App Store (<a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>).

iPhone 13 could finally boast a 120Hz display

Even before the release of this year's iPhone 12 generation, mixed reports about the refresh rate of the display itself were circulating on the Internet. One moment there was talk of the arrival of 120Hz displays, and a few days after that there was talk of the opposite. In the end, unfortunately, we did not get a display with a higher refresh rate, so we will still have to make do with 60 Hz. But according to the latest news, we should finally see a change.

The Korean website The Elec now claims that two of the four iPhone 13 models boast an economical OLED display with LTPO technology and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. However, the main suppliers of the displays themselves should continue to be companies such as Samsung and LG, while it can be expected that the Chinese company BOE will also be able to win some orders. These new components should be significantly more sophisticated compared to current Super Retina XDR displays. In addition, it can be expected that only the Pro models will receive this gadget.
