iMessage is a great service to avoid paying for SMS and MMS using data and push technology, and by integrating directly into the Messages app, users don't have to wonder if the other party has an Apple device to which the service is exclusive. iMessage just works, that is if it works. Apple's cloud services have been experiencing long-term outages since September 18, when the final version of iOS 7 was released to the public.
Users have a problem with sending messages via iMessage, messages always stop sending and won't be sent even after a long time, the system can't even automatically switch to sending classic SMS as it does in case of unavailable mobile data. Messages can be received without any problem, the only problem is sending them. There are several tips on the internet to temporarily fix iMessage, one says to turn off iMessage, reset network settings (Settings > General > Reset) and reactivating iMessage, elsewhere they recommend turning off iMessage, doing a hard reset of the phone (by holding down the power button and Home at the same time for a few seconds) and reactivating iMessage. However, these tips will not fix iMessage permanently, the problems will return again the next day, which we can confirm from our own experience.
Although Apple has already released a fix update iOS 7.0.2, users continue to face annoying problems. For example, in the first week, the App Store almost did not work, other users report problems with the synchronization of reminders. The iOS 7 update debacle goes without saying. Despite all this, it is according to service status pages all right. Apple apparently did not manage the transition to iOS 7 very smoothly.
I confirm, sending does not work, but only to someone. Interestingly.
so I didn't notice any problems :) thank God
Just the reset was enough for me.
It's also crazy, yesterday I tested the connection between iPhone and iPad. From the phone it got stuck and carried. It worked without any problems from the iPad. After iZarizeni rest, both run.
Another problem is with dragging music to the iPhone 5. The program throws me an error, nothing goes through USB at all. Well, that's another problem that annoys me!!!
I reset iMessage, it turned off and I can't turn it on anymore...
Fortunately, I don't have any problems.
iM didn't work for me either, but after a restart everything was OK...
I just noticed the problem a while ago. I say why no one answers me. And here is the hacked imessage. I turn off the iPhone and an exclamation mark appears for sent messages.
It works for me without any problems. Interesting that it's not just for someone.
It works without a problem
iMessage is arbitrarily sent to me as sms when data is not available or wifi is weak. At the same time, I have the "send as sms" service turned off. I have received many messages like this from abroad and I don't know what to do with them, do you have any advice on how to do it?
If only… heh
I have a problem today too, but after restarting the phone it's OK
I have an i5 with iOS 7 and no problems - my girlfriend has an i4, also with iOS 7 and she won't sign in to iMessage at all - just can't activate it after the update. Does anyone have experience with this? Restart doesn't help either..
I'm trolling, but it's hell on the iPad mini
I also report the disappearance of contacts synchronized with os x through the cloud... I always upload them back, but in two days they disappear, so the order goes round and round + switching off when reaching whole numbers on the percentage of the charge state from 40% below... then it is required to connect the charger connector and then turn on the state original battery, eg 40%...des bes
I personally have a problem with iMsg only with a few numbers, my wife and I write back and forth just fine - I 4S ios7 and she 4S ios6, but I can't send iMsg with another number on 4S and ios7, while the number from other people works just fine... : D
plus when I'm listening to music and I'm on the lockscreen and I go back to the system, the song always "lags" for about a second and continues... the other way around, it doesn't work from the system to the phone lock...
I've experienced this 3 times already on an iPhone 5 and once on an iPad 4. I closed Messages on the iPhone and restarted the device, which helped, but it didn't help on the iPad, it was necessary to turn off iMessages, reset the network settings and turn on iMessages again.
I still have the latest beta installed and I also have this problem... imessage doesn't send when it arrives :(
I confirm the problems with iMessages. It just didn't work for me around 20pm today.
At the same time, the iTunes Match function has deteriorated. She was down from her computer from iTunes all afternoon today. I've been trying to get iTunes Match working on my iPhone for a few days since the release of iOS 7. It wasn't until yesterday that everything synced up.
Also without the slightest problem on 4S, iPad 2 and Mini and in communication with 5 and 3GS.
It started to rain this morning. After not receiving a response to iMessage, I looked at the message and lo and behold – the indicator is at about 80% and does not solve anything...
iPhone 4S -> iPhone 4
It makes me angry too. Only on iPhone 5. OSX and iPad is ok. It randomly hangs at about 80-90% while uploading. Restarting iOS always helps. But only for a few hours :-/.
Fortunately, 7.0.3 is already on the way.
Hello, I came to solve iMessage problems in the Czech Republic. Not apple, but Czech operators block them. Otherwise, I can't explain that I can't send anything from my iPad 4 3G with tmobile flat-rate internet, but after purchasing a VPN from avast for less than €4 per month, iMessage calls are snarling at 106 ;) my iPhone 4 with o2 runs perfectly.
which idiot came up with IOS7, it sucks and the design sucks, the only thing they improved is the locked main screen, otherwise it's a FAIL !!!!!
Since switching to 7.0.2 (iphone 5), imsg and facetime do not work for me at all, restoring settings, restore, nothing helps. It keeps throwing me the message “Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." however, logging into the apple store and everywhere else works just fine, only imsg and facetime nothing. I went to the operator about it, if it's not their fault, but apparently not. The apple repair shop couldn't do anything about it either. So be glad that they work for you after the restaurant, at least that day.
Absolutely great.. Yesterday, after a lot of self-convincing, I got iOS 7.0.2.. And I really don't have my eyes connected to the mouse, but if I spend two hours without setting up iMessage on my phone .. Neither a hard restart nor resetting the network settings helped me .. I also tried changing the apple ID.. And still nothing.. "Check the network settings".. Any advice?? I really wanted this..:-//
I have the same problem. After updating to iOS 7.0.2, iMessage doesn't work at all and freezes at 80% send. Everything is OK with the arrivals. Now I tried turning off iMessage and turning off the phone according to the advice here, and now iMessages don't work at all. I'm sending a text right away. ;-(
