iPhone users (in most cases) enjoy the new iOS 4. The luckier ones with at least a third-generation iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch also enjoy multitasking. But there is a device that needs multitasking much more - the iPad.
The way it looks, we won't see iOS 4 for iPad until November. Apple hasn't officially announced anything yet (just saying "later this year"), but an Advertising Age article said that the iAd platform won't be available to advertisers on the iPad until November of this year. iAd needs the new iOS 4 to run, so it can be assumed that Apple will introduce iOS 4 for the iPad at the end of October on the occasion of introducing the new generation of Macbooks.
The iAd advertising platform starts the day after tomorrow, July 1. But it is not certain if the ads will start showing from this date as Apple may not have produced ads for its advertisers. Apple set as a condition the necessity to create an iAd advertisement directly from Apple.
In the Keynote, Apple announced the iOS4 iPad - Fall. Isn't that official enough? :))
I think autumn doesn't start in November? :)
"..at the end of October on the occasion of the introduction of the new generation of Macbooks." That new MacBooks will be introduced is a guess, right?
Apple releases new products every year, so I don't expect this year to be any different.

I would not make the problem with the loss of signal on the iPhone 4 such a problem again. The iP4 will be good for a lot of things, and for calling, I'll buy a basic Nokia model from the operator for 1 crown in my other pocket :D
I have had an iPad 16GB WiFi for about 2 months and it has a big problem when playing H.264 stream video (no matter how - YouTube, from the website, Elgato EyeTV, MobileMe) via WiFi. I tried different WiFi points, including Free, Restore and through DFU mode of the entire iPad, installing only the OS without a single program, all without effect. It plays for about 5 minutes, then everything freezes and RESET iPad helps. Google "iPad video freeze" on the net shows that there is a problem. But there is no mention anywhere that there will be an Upgrade OS repair shop, it is written that such defective parts will be replaced in Apple Stores. Can someone please tell me more?
