After almost a fortnight of speculation and conjecture, the operators have published the prices and discounted tariffs for the iPhone 4. We have prepared for you a clear overview of the prices and tariffs of individual operators, so that you can easily find your way around their offer.
The first iPhone model released in the Czech Republic held a record at the time. It was the cheapest in the world, but only for a few months. Over time, prices were adjusted upwards. With the launch of the iPhone 3GS, an unpleasant surprise awaited the interested parties. The price of a non-subsidized phone rose over CZK 19 during the year. That's why we've been eagerly awaiting the price announcement. This year, Apple raised the price of the device for foreign operators, so the new iPhone 000 was slightly more expensive. Therefore, it was speculated that the price of the non-subsidized device could even exceed the 4 CZK mark. A more optimistic version talked about maintaining the current prices for the 20GS model. This unofficial information was confirmed to the excitement of many. Buying a separate phone without a tariff from individual operators costs almost the same money as last year. But for the first time this year, operators have different prices by up to several thousand. Look at the following tables. All prices are inclusive of VAT.

The cheapest unsubsidized iPhone 4 is Vodafone. The price for 16 GB is the same as last year, 32 GB is 100 CZK higher. T-Mobile only offers a 16 GB version and it is 1 CZK more expensive than Vodafone. Telefónica O422 has not yet published the prices for the non-subsidized device. "Due to Apple's limited supply, the iPhone 4 offer is temporarily only available to new and existing customers on contract."
"Bargain Buy"
It seems more advantageous to buy with a tariff. Here, however, you are tied to the operator for a certain period of time. With Vodafone, the contract is for half a year, with T-Mobile for two years, and Telefónica O2 requires two years for the phone, with a discounted package with data tariffs it is even three years.

If we do a little math, the "bargain" packages aren't that good. Compared to last year's offer, there was a "price adjustment" of the minimum monthly payment for all operators and thus an increase in the total price of the phone. So it's a good idea to study the price lists and consider whether it's worthwhile for you to go elsewhere. If you want an iPhone 4 and your call bills are low, it's not worth getting a phone with an expensive plan. So get the lowest possible minimum payout. Then the 16GB iPhone 4 will cost you:
Vodafone – 15 CZK
Telefonica O2 – 19 CZK
T-Mobile – 20 CZK
If we compare prices abroad for more expensive tariffs, Czech operators set really exorbitant prices for the iPhone 4.
I don't understand the last 3 amounts in the article???
Vodafone – CZK 15
Telefónica O2 – CZK 19
T-Mobile – CZK 20
How did you arrive at these amounts?
The calculation is simple. Number of months x minimum charge price + phone price. Vodafone has six years, T-Mobile and Telefónica O2 two years.
So I modified the wording. Hopefully it's clearer.
Yes, it's clear now, after all, I don't think much of it today. :D Thanks
So that's a big difference between Vodafone and the other operators.
Yes, it was broken, but who paid me 177 kc per month? From the point of view of tariff use, it is usable for seniors. On the other hand, it is useful for an unsubsidized phone for half a year...
Even with T-mobile, the minimum amount is only paid for one year, but you are subscribed for two..:) and for subscribing to T-mobile for customers who build in full, 2300 is not 9, but 999...:)

Thanks for the warning.
I would like to ask if anyone has any idea if I am a regular Vodafone customer, can I buy a subsidized device with a half-year contract or am I just looking for a small discount for new customers?
As an existing Vodafone customer, you are entitled to a subsidized machine every two years. The price depends on the amount of your monthly payment/tariff, which you then have to keep for 6 months or increase. After 6 months you are free and can do whatever you want with the number. I will receive two iPhone 4s tomorrow.
You forgot to include data packages in mmp. And they are unfortunately worse, at least for me. I took 3 G to mmp 800 CZK for 2999 CZK – T30 + 399 CZK data with 2 GB FUP. Now there is 1GB.
Maybe a little sideways, but why does it sound to me that there is a trojan on these pages...avast. Would it be in that ad at the top?
Thanks for the comparison, in the end it's quite a reasonable price... Well, understandably an incredibly expensive piece, but I won't judge until I see it. Otherwise, a friendly reminder for the author – correct the blunder in the last sentence (it should have been put on by the perators! ;-)
