Businessmen reading this article surely have the sound on their iPhones all day long. However, those of us who are not businessmen and use the iPhone primarily for, for example, photography and browsing social networks, prefer silent mode, dominated by vibrations. But did you know that there is an option in iOS, thanks to which you can set your own vibrations for the given contacts? This means that even when your device is in silent mode, you will know who is calling you by specific vibrations. Well, doesn't that sound amazing?

How to set your own contact vibration

The procedure is quite simple and the setting of the vibration itself is very user-friendly. Just see for yourself:

  • Let's open the application Phone
  • We select the contact for which we want to set a specific vibration
  • After opening the contact, click on in the upper right corner Adjust
  • Then we open the item Vibration
  • In this menu, we open a column Create a new vibration
  • An environment will open in which we can record our own vibration using our finger. Place your finger - the phone will vibrate; we lift our finger from the screen - the phone stops vibrating
  • As soon as we want to end the recording, we press Stop in the lower right corner of the screen

Repeat this process until the vibration is exactly to your liking. We can play the vibration using the button Overheat, using the button Record we delete the vibration and start again. Once we're done, just vibrate with the button Impose save and name. To keep your phone organized, I recommend naming your vibration after a contact.

In this tutorial, we showed you how to set a specific vibration for each contact separately. Set a specific vibration for the contacts you use the most and learn to recognize who is calling you. Even if you don't look at the display and have the sound turned off.
