How to Activate Weather Alert Notifications on iPhone
In addition, thanks to Weather in iOS 16, users can activate notifications for weather alerts for selected locations. This means that if the CHMÚ issues a warning in the Czech Republic, for example for heavy rains and storms, floods, fires, high temperatures, etc., you will immediately receive a notification about this fact so that you are informed and can prepare for anything. To activate these notifications, just follow these steps:
- First, on your iPhone, you need to move to Weather.
- Once you've done that, tap on the bottom right corner of the screen menu icon.
- You will then find yourself in an interface with places to press on the top right three dots icon.
- This will bring up a menu to select an option Notification.
- That's enough here activate Extreme Weather pros current location or selected places.

As mentioned above, it is possible to activate extreme weather notifications, i.e. weather warning notifications, within the Weather app on your iPhone with iOS 16. To activate these notifications on your current location, so just switch in the section Current location activate Extreme Weather. For this trick to work, you need to give Weather constant access to your location, which will keep you informed. However, if you want to activate the alert notification only u some places so it's enough below in the section Saved locations unclick, and then activate Extreme Weather. As for the Hourly precipitation forecast function, it is unfortunately not available in the Czech Republic.
