Quark Inc. although it lost to Adobe Systems Inc. in the desktop publishing battle, but he is not throwing his flint into the rye just yet. He sees content creation on the iPad as another opportunity. On August 21, it appeared in the AppStore with a new application Quark DesignPad. You can easily design, prepare and publish your ideas in it, share on Twitter or send by email. It is gratifying to be able to continue using the professional QuarkXPress program in your works from the iPad. The application is currently only 2,2 MB, yet it has a number of advanced functions such as: templates, guides, transparency, cropping and changing the size of the image or the option of choosing measurement units. Requires iOS 4.3 and up.

Well, the designer doesn't reach for this..
But it reaches. Why not? After all, no one expects it to be the main working tool. But the possibility to make concepts at the cottage and then finish it in peace on the computer. I was surprised by how extensive this app has. There are also functional errors, and what is not exactly the last name is the setting of numerical data (the values cannot be overwritten after clicking, but must be deleted first) and the app's thinking when using the sliders (which results in the desired value being moved), and a small defect in editing of large objects, when the control dialogs are not rendered (the background image has the control icons at the top, but when you call up the dialog for editing, for example, the transparency, only the top of the dialog is displayed and you cannot control the tools).
