Fitbit is a leading manufacturer of fitness trackers, whether it's a wearable or a wearable One or bracelet Flex. The market for fitness accessories, especially wristbands, is experiencing a relatively large boom, and in addition to Fitbit, there are also other players - Nike with its Fuelband and Jawbone with bracelet Up. Fitbit has now launched a new product – a wristband Strength.
Force is the follower Flex, shares the same design and way of fastening to the wrist. The biggest difference between the bracelets is in the display. While Flex relied only on the indication of a few diodes, Strength it has a small OLED display that can display detailed tracking information - the number of steps taken, distance, calories burned or floors climbed. For more details, as with the previous version, the iPhone application will serve.
It is the number of floors climbed that is new in Force, tracking this action is possible using the altimeter included in the device. In addition to fitness data, the new Fitbit wristband can also display information about the number called, that is, if the Force is connected to an iPhone 4S and above with the operating system iOS 7. This feature will not be available immediately, but will be added as part of a firmware update. Hopefully Fitbit will add the option to display other notifications, such as received messages. Similar to the Flex, it will also offer sleep monitoring, silent wake-up or synchronization via Bluetooth 4.0.
Just like the previous model is Fitbit force waterproof and the battery should last 7-10 days depending on usage. It will go on sale in the coming weeks for $129,95 on the manufacturer's website in two colors (black, black-blue). Availability in the Czech Republic is still unknown.

Also for the Czech Republic, or as with Flex, will it be sold here later...?
We have added to the article that we do not yet know more detailed information about availability in the Czech Republic.
In Slovakia, you can already reorder for €144
€144 is the price of the device or does it include transport?
I was told by ifitbit.cz that it should be available in the Czech Republic in both colors at the beginning of 2014
I can already imagine this on my hands. (Unlike Samsung's "smart watch".)
unfortunately, there is still a lack of smart wake-up, as is the case with the Jawbone UP. I don't understand why they didn't put it there. and the worst thing is that they didn't add the "prompt" function to the activity, also from UP. it starts to vibrate during inactivity to warn you that you should pick up your ass and go do something :-) the last disadvantage is the stable unavailability of the product, especially the black variants. All manufacturers are concerned that fitbit does not have time to deliver to Europe, so delivery times are long and the goods are not permanently in stock.
he also added that Nike is working SOON on a new Fuelband with the possibility of measuring pulse and other news :) FuelBand is the nicest of all. so then I wait...
Unfortunately (probably thanks to the button and the connector), the new model will only be waterproof when washing hands, rain, or sweat. It is no longer possible to shower with it, like with Flex :-(
I agree with the opinion that it was successful in terms of design. I'll wait for Nike to come up with something.
For the price, my ass, but it looks nice, sired by Jamtung
