The first generation of Apple Watch was introduced back in September 2014 and went on sale last April, so customers are slowly starting to look forward to the date when the Californian company will introduce a new model. The possibility of increased battery life and other expected news makes the public wonder when the expected Apple Watch 2 will be introduced.

So far, some sources have talked about March of this year as the date of a possible performance, but referring to their sources this information they do not believe Matthew Panzarino of TechCrunch. According to him, the second generation of the Apple Watch will most likely not arrive in March.

“I'm not too sure if he'll show up so soon. I've heard a few things from certain sources that indicate to me that we won't be seeing them in March. There may be various add-ons and maybe design collaborations coming, but I've heard so many things that tell me that Watch 2.0 in March, in short, Apple will not present," said Panzarino about the recent speculations about the new model.

Company analyst Creative strategies Ben Bajarin provided Panzarin with information that claims supply chains are showing no signs of production of the new model yet.

"If the next-generation Apple Watch were to arrive in early 2016, the components would have to start production as early as 2015. This speculated timing is simply suspicious," Bajarin said. “While we are seeing some interesting patterns regarding supply chains for Apple, it is simply impossible to predict if they will actually come this year. It was the same last year as well. No one could tell based on the supply chains when the product would reach the market,” he added.

In his article, Panzarino showed some agreement with Bajarino and also mentioned the recent release of a new beta version of watchOS, according to which it cannot be assumed that the new model will come in the shortest time frame, although the developers may think so.

However, there is a certain chance that something will actually happen in March. According to Panzarino, it could be the introduction of, for example, a smaller four-inch iPhone or a new iPad, but the real question remains how the Apple Watch will fare in the longer term. "Even Apple itself does not know how this product will develop. Right now, it looks like the Watch will be much more powerful as a complement to the iPhone rather than a stand-alone product,” he mentioned in his article.

Everything is in the stars so far, but the official launch of the new generation of Apple watches in March is now very unlikely. Rather, it can be expected that they would come only in September of this year together with the possible launch of new iPhones, i.e. similar to what happened with the first generation.

It must be added that the current generation of Apple Watch had a really great quarter and according to the company's survey Juniper Networks occupies a 50% share of the market among smart watches, so the second generation could break even more noticeably in this direction.
