The first generation of Apple Watch was introduced back in September 2014 and went on sale last April, so customers are slowly starting to look forward to the date when the Californian company will introduce a new model. The possibility of increased battery life and other expected news makes the public wonder when the expected Apple Watch 2 will be introduced.
So far, some sources have talked about March of this year as the date of a possible performance, but referring to their sources this information they do not believe Matthew Panzarino of TechCrunch. According to him, the second generation of the Apple Watch will most likely not arrive in March.
“I'm not too sure if he'll show up so soon. I've heard a few things from certain sources that indicate to me that we won't be seeing them in March. There may be various add-ons and maybe design collaborations coming, but I've heard so many things that tell me that Watch 2.0 in March, in short, Apple will not present," said Panzarino about the recent speculations about the new model.
Company analyst Creative strategies Ben Bajarin provided Panzarin with information that claims supply chains are showing no signs of production of the new model yet.
"If the next-generation Apple Watch were to arrive in early 2016, the components would have to start production as early as 2015. This speculated timing is simply suspicious," Bajarin said. “While we are seeing some interesting patterns regarding supply chains for Apple, it is simply impossible to predict if they will actually come this year. It was the same last year as well. No one could tell based on the supply chains when the product would reach the market,” he added.
In his article, Panzarino showed some agreement with Bajarino and also mentioned the recent release of a new beta version of watchOS, according to which it cannot be assumed that the new model will come in the shortest time frame, although the developers may think so.
However, there is a certain chance that something will actually happen in March. According to Panzarino, it could be the introduction of, for example, a smaller four-inch iPhone or a new iPad, but the real question remains how the Apple Watch will fare in the longer term. "Even Apple itself does not know how this product will develop. Right now, it looks like the Watch will be much more powerful as a complement to the iPhone rather than a stand-alone product,” he mentioned in his article.
Everything is in the stars so far, but the official launch of the new generation of Apple watches in March is now very unlikely. Rather, it can be expected that they would come only in September of this year together with the possible launch of new iPhones, i.e. similar to what happened with the first generation.
It must be added that the current generation of Apple Watch had a really great quarter and according to the company's survey Juniper Networks occupies a 50% share of the market among smart watches, so the second generation could break even more noticeably in this direction.
in my opinion, Apple will present the Apple Watch every two years in the fall together with the new generation of the iPhone. I see a 4″ iPhone at this year's WWDC. I doubt they will do a special keynote for this
Q1 = Macbook/Air/Pro + iPhone 4″
Q2 = WWDC
Q3 = iPhone 7, Apple Watch 2
Q4 = iPad mini/Air/Pro + iMac + Mac mini
these seem like reasonable terms to me, and now if Apple could finally reduce my prices in CR :)
how will it end? it has always been the same as in the US for many years
that's a fact...so I'm going to kick the cnb people off
I guess I don't understand it now. why do people from cnb stand the same??
Because the cnb devalued the Czech Republic and that's why apple proceeded to raise the price of nad.
I guess we still don't understand, Apple products cost the same as in the USA. Do you want to have them cheaper or what?
He probably means it like this. When I bought an iPhone 4S immediately after its launch in 2011, it cost $649 in the US and CZK 14590 in the Czech Republic. 5 years later the iPhone 6S costs $649 and in our country it costs CZK 21190. And the EU, the Czech Republic, rising taxes, etc. are to blame. So yes, we would like it cheaper.
In the USA, the 16GB iPhone 6S costs CZK 20, according to the current exchange rate. You can buy from us about 798 CZK cheaper (e.g. Mall.cz).
Somehow it doesn't seem to me that it cost Apple less then in the US. On the contrary, a few years ago it was much more expensive in the Czech Republic.
In order to compare comparables - the official distribution of Apple.com / Apple.cz
USA: 20 CZK
Czech Republic: CZK 21.
So a difference of some 400 CZK for iPhone 6S 16 GB..
I don't know if I'm the weird one. In 2011, the USD/CZK exchange rate was about CZK 17. $649 times 17=11k. Today the USD is worth 25. The price has simply risen for the average Czech by 45% compared to 2011. For the average American, the price is the same. Or are you telling me that the average salary is 45 percent lower in the US? What do you not understand about that? Historical phone prices are easy to find.
1. you must not calculate the price without VAT with one year of warranty vs. the price with VAT and with two years of warranty, then it really cannot be compared. The cheapest comparable iPhone in the USA does not cost 650 USD, but about 850 USD... 2. today the price of the product is exactly the same as in the USA and you can't ask for more.
Or do you think that Apple will sell the iPhone for CZK 1500, for example, in Ukraine, where the average salary is CZK 3000, so that it is "fair" against the USA, where the salary is CZK 40? So that they could buy both for a fortnight's salary? Is Apple supposed to subsidize products because the economic situation is bad somewhere or how do you imagine it? The fact that the iPhone is at the same price as in the USA is, in my opinion, an absolutely excellent situation.
I really doubt that we would ever have an iPhone cheaper than in the USA.. I remember that a new iPhone always cost about 20..
You obviously don't want to understand.
Let's say an American had a salary of $2000 five years ago, and today he also has $2000. The iPhone still costs him $650, it still costs him the same.
A Czech who had a salary of 20 five years ago and still has 000 today bought an iPhone five years ago thanks to a more favorable exchange rate for 20 and today with a disadvantageous exchange rate for 000... Thanks to the intervention of the Czech National Bank, electronics simply became more expensive. Dot. Nobody wants it cheaper than in the US. People simply want the CNB to stop artificially weakening/strengthening currencies and the dollar exchange rate to return to where it was = electronics became cheaper.
Otherwise, the iPhone certainly did not always cost 20. The iPhone 000GS was sold unsubsidized for 3 CZK, while in the US it was sold for 12 dollars. Today it costs 000 dollars in the USA, but 650 here. Because of the CNB. Each generation went up in price by approx. 650 here.
I agree with you, the biggest jump for me was a few months after the iPhone 6 where prices went up 4-5K on iPhones.
if you are talking about the prices of iPhones and Apple products in general, and you think they are big, then you don't have the money for those products and you shouldn't buy them. I can't imagine having to spend money on something lol, I just buy it when I want it... not that I spend money like I did when I was 14 haha
I don't know what you want to tell us with your statement. I'm a student and as such I'm quite dependent on my parents, especially since I don't have much time to earn unlike other students of my age. The fact that I paid 6K less for the iPhone 5 than for the iPhone 6s due to the CNB's intervention is a significant difference to me, and I don't know where you got the idea that I'm "saving like I was 14" on the device. And even if I or anyone else were to save up for something, I don't see anything wrong with it.
I don't have time to write diacritics ;)
but just as important, as a student you can go to brigades (I employ quite a few of them) and if you're smart you'll pay for that phone in a month (but it's easier to ask your parents for it, man, I just need to look at your profile)
in any case, I wanted to say in my comment that if someone complains that it is too expensive, they should buy an Android or a Win phone, for a fraction of the price (we need to buy a galaxy s4mini for people at the office for 4 thousand each) where the price-performance ratio is completely nowhere elsewhere
kor students like you who don't need it for work and I doubt they need it for school. instead of unnecessary squandering, you could save your money and invest it, and your parents will want you to become independent (but you may be lucky/unlucky in that they won't want it for you)
and before you tell me that everything works better and faster on the iPhone (i.e. applications), I will answer you straight away that if you didn't waste your time with junk (such as mobile games and similar applications), you might have more time to earn or it's a joke to educate
he would be a good survey among the top 500 managers in the world, how much time does he spend with the phone in addition to calling and emailing. I don't think anyone would be surprised if we came to the conclusion that people who really have something to do have a phone only for calls and they invest their emails and time more intelligently :] (and that's why our finance minister needs a stupid old Nokia :)
and I would correct myself here
most top managers do not use the phone for e-mails, because they receive a report from the secretary at the beginning of the day, as well as a calendar, etc., so phone = phone calls
just as they say that the CEO does not carry a netbook, the CEO has an assistant with him who carries a laptop (and she is the one who works on it) :]
Interesting how you can get a picture of someone you don't know at all. Am I judging you by myself? Have a nice day Mr. "kk". ?
if I knew you, I don't have to make that picture of you because I already have some
This is how I looked at your photos from your life that are online, because you are one of those people who enjoy it, and with the combination of your information that you don't live alone and you are still studying, I am more or less clear
and no, I earned my living at school (apartment on the stock market and not by manual work or similar crap) and I still earn my living after school years, and despite that, my parents are a high-income group, so I can safely say that I am decidedly around average (and it never bothered me, at least I was brought up to the fact that I don't need things for life and I like to have a high number on my bank account :)
I have to say that your demeanor leaves a very negative impression on me. So I will try to give some facts in response to your conclusions. I am studying a field that is quite time-consuming, but fortunately I have a job that is related to my studies and is very flexible in terms of time, gives me practice and is also well-paid. The devices that I use primarily for studying and communication (I have 2 games on iOS: Prune and Acutil) I bought from my own resources, which I compensated for this, except for the MacBook that I received as a gift eight years ago. When I was younger, I also earned my living by doing manual labor and I would never call it "bullshit", maybe if you had a taste of working with your hands you wouldn't become a puffed-up rude anonymous who disrupts substantive discussion and for whom sums are the main values with which he appears here on account. I firmly believe that one day you will think about your actions.
PS: I hope you liked my photos and if you mean Andrej Babiš, although he is not exactly my favorite politician, he is a loyal iOS user.
the field is time-consuming, I think you are a future lawyer, right? and that practice you have a paralegal what? :DDDDDD
I'm not interested in what you study and what applications you have
I tried working with my hands, eight hours with a sledgehammer as part of family motivation, of course free of charge, just to show me that I really don't want to work with my hands. And for that reason, I say that working with my hands is bullshit for someone like me, when I can earn the same money with my head...hmm..100x faster? (that part is fine anyway, it must be added that unfortunately I spend 8 hours a day with my head :)
I'm probably cocky, if you saw people like me, and excelled in things like me, you'd probably be cocky too, so we need to clarify what we mean by cockiness. I understand that the vast majority of people were not lucky enough to have the genes, upbringing and education that I had, and that is why they are behind and disadvantaged compared to me, and I do not rise above them. on the other hand, I understand that if "buh" chose the best people for the ark, I would be ahead of the majority of people who would drown :) (which I don't take as conceit, but as realism)
and the main value doesn't have to be money in the account, of course there is some goal, let's say that most of the visitors go to work so that they get 40k a month in the account and spend it... if I take investment returns, then hypothetically I get 40k a month in the account too, and I don't have to spend 8 hours a day at work, but I can devote myself to the things I enjoy.. oil painting, pencil drawing, reading history books, etc.. the things I really like were born from my time in public transport. tomorrow, I'll start the day by squeezing fresh juice, I'll have 1 piece of toast and an egg benedict, and when the others go to work, I'll start reading a book... because I can, because I'm not a fan of spending money on nonsense that I don't need and prefer to invest it (I must add that the cat I also owned an ipod and an ipad, I had an iPhone lying around on my desk, but it's my main phone, but I'm not a blind user who swallows marketing (maybe also because I studied it in part and I'm resistant))
I still don't understand why you compare the price without VAT and without warranty on the one hand and with VAT and warranty on the other. Then project it into salaries. A comparable iphone never cost your 650 usd but 850 usd.
iphone 6s 16GB 649 CZK + appleCare 129 CZK = 778 CZK x 25 CZK = 19450 CZK
in our case 21190 CZK, the difference is 1740 CZK
Our price is higher.
What about VAT?
the price for an American is this, and for a Czech, the poppy VAT is the same as it is in every country. As a customer, I buy the same product at a different final price in my country.
If there isn't at least one keynote before WWDC, it would be too big a gap, if not the biggest one in the last 5 years. Well, they certainly can't afford to make a keynote for restoring the iPhone 4″ and upgrading macbooks. So here I am with a watch :D
