Next month it will be two years since Apple Arcade launched in September 2019. A few weeks before this event takes place, the number of available titles has crossed the 200 mark. In addition to the originally declared and truly original titles, somewhat controversial ones are also available here, i.e. those that are referred to as App Store Legends or Timeless Classics .

As he states CNET, Apple's gaming platform hit the 200 available games mark last Friday after adding the title Super Stickman Golf 3. At the launch of Apple Arcade, the platform had about 100 exclusive titles available, with Apple promising that new games would be added every week. Although not quite regularly, he has more or less followed this, with the only difference being that since April of this year, he has pushed the saw a bit too much.

Monument Valley, Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds, Good Sudoku, Really Bad Chess and many other games from the App Store Legends or Timeless Classic collections can also be found normally in the App Store, as well as in Google Play, just without the "+" tag ", which indicates belonging to Apple Arcade. Titles such as Tetris or Asphalt 8 should come soon. And the last mentioned is the one that is more interesting than the others in adding to the platform.

Possible potential

Of course, the successor to the Airborne subtitle is already available in the App Store, which is called Legends, but due to its change in control, it is still a very different title. All games from Gameloft are riddled with microtransactions, which usually also contain not just one in-game currency, but several, where you buy different rare equipment or progress in the game. Airborne is no different.

But you pay a subscription for Apple Arcade, and the titles present simply do not contain ads or microtransactions. It will be quite interesting to see what the implementation of a similar title will bring to the platform. If the currency will be preserved and it will be more accessible to earn it, or on the contrary, the whole system will be undermined. Either way, this is the direction the platform could go as well. The fact that the pressure on the user as part of the necessary payments to improve progress will disappear is already quite effective and could be a certain attraction that, for example, Monument Valley, which does not have any In-App, simply does not offer. If you are interested in a subscription to Apple Arcade, just visit the App Store on the Arcade tab and select it right from the start Start playing.
