Since the very release of AirPods, many users have not been satisfied with just one color version of the headphones. In response to this, a number of companies began to offer so-called re-coloring, i.e. recoloring AirPods to the color chosen by the customer, most often black. Among them, the well-known company ColorWare was also included, which, however, does not stay only with classic colors. That's why she presented a special limited edition a few days ago retro edition inspired by Macintosh computer design.

AirPods Retro, as the special edition from ColorWare is called, is described as inspired by the Apple IIe computer, which, however, shared a design with the first Macintosh. The headphones and the case are recolored in classic beige. In addition, the case is complemented by fake ventilation and a rainbow pairing button reminiscent of the old Apple logo from 1977 and 1998.

ColorWare buys AirPods directly from Apple. He then recolors both the headphones and the case and repackages everything in the original packaging, including the Lightning cable and documentation. For the modification in the case of a limited edition, he will have to pay properly - AirPods Retro costs $399 (approximately CZK 8), which is more than double the price compared to the standard $800. The company is able to deliver the headphones within 159-3 weeks of ordering, while also sending shipments to the Czech Republic.
