Apple continues its advertising campaign for the fourth-generation Apple TV, and in a new spot it highlights applications that third-party developers can create for the Apple set-top box for the first time. “The future of TV is apps,” the ad declares.
Several of the most popular applications such as NEtflix, ESPN, Asphalt 8, Disney Infinity, Showtime, Crossy Road or HBO Now appear in the half-minute commercial. So Apple shows all categories from content consumption to games.
The advertisement is coordinated with the final colored stripes with existing marketing material, which applies to the latest Apple TV.
yes, if only amazon prime was finally on apple tv 4.
Airplay is ok, but a native application would be much better.
unfortunately, I'm still in despair, I have two new ones and the potential of those boxes is 80% unfulfilled precisely because of the limitations in the hw design that it has (usb/usb-c), e.g. for video conferences, many people would immediately buy a new one for facetime. that's how the deed ran away. about the fact that in addition to playing games with a controller (I have the only one from the Apple store for 1700 that is officially supported and has lightning), the choice of games for a 5-year-old child is absolutely desperate. they ask to look at the first gaming room somewhere in the resort and see what is to be enjoyed and not the crap that is there now for appletv.
I'm wondering how to play 4K Netflix content on a 5K iMac. Apple TV won't play 4K content, so the ad is just an ad. High-quality display of content on Apple devices is still an error :-(
